Boozer76
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The European Union is fining Microsoft Corp. $1.3 billion for charging rivals too much for software information. EU regulators say the company charged "unreasonable prices" to software developers who wanted to make products compatible with the Windows operating system. The fine is the largest ever for a single company and the first time the EU has penalized a business for failing to obey an antitrust order. I figured I'd post this first since I'm sure all the Apple disciples will be all over it despite the fact their beloved Mac's cost twice as much to consumers for the same thing. war ensemble
I figured I'd post this first since I'm sure all the Apple disciples will be all over it despite the fact their beloved Mac's cost twice as much to consumers for the same thing. I have never used a Mac, so I am no fanboy. However, your argument is shoddy seeing as Microsoft does not create PCs. If Microsoft created PCs and they were half the price of similar-spec Macs then you could say something. If this argument is merely one between Microsoft and Apple I don't think you can really mention anything about hardware pricing. I would understand you saying this in a PC vs Mac argument. Not here. Bob
As much as I hate Macs and the idiotic culture that surrounds them, I'm glad to see Microsoft brought down a peg. Stifling development for greed is a bad thing for everybody.
