Smizzy
The one thing that Free Agency has shown us over the last couple of years is you need to have your targets acquired and be ready to move on them come midnight. I hope the Jets are ready.
AFJF
As much as I'd love the Jets to "strike fast" I think that'll be another term for "grossly overpay" and I'm not a huge fan of that. Make offers above market value if need be, but don't eat up a ton of cap space on a couple of guys. Too many holes to fill. Of course a lot of this depends on who is released or traded. If D-Rob, Penningon, Coles, Vilma are not in the teams plans and they can work some trades...cap room should be no issue at all in which case I agree... "strike fast"

I hope the Jets are ready. I think they will be, they know what needs to be accomplished or else they will be in everyones crosshairs. This is the perfect storm of available cap money and actual talented players there for the signing.

"strike fast" If we have a target we need to go out and get them before someone else does. We can't wait for the market to level out and fish for stop gap players anymore. If there is a guy and he will make a difference we need to get him. If our target will take less to play for a better team ,You offer him more to get him to play here. This year we visiously need a LG. Faneca is the best FA guard out there..Just get him ! End of story.

This makes the draft for us more wide open, don't you think? I think whoever they select now will be fine by me, regardless of position.

We're not forced to draft for need. We can start thinking BAP.
Jedi_Jet1121
James Hardy needs to be drafted 6'7 4.6 speed you need a play maker in the end zone and Coles might be gone so we need to find a good replacement i want him more than any player besides Mcfadden or Long or Gloston

It's not the kind of off season you can have every year, but this year they had the room and they acted aggressively. Jets are gonna be a different team in the trenches this year. Hard not to like it. A lot. Of course, I considered the off season a success as soon as they cut Justa McGuy.
Sperm Edwards
Like a certain player from Arkansas? Felix Jones isn't worth the #6 pick IMO.
