"How 'bout a nice greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray?"

Back in the day, when I was 19. there was a place called ''Big Al's'' that was a local legend for breakfast sandwiches. it had one called the ''BOR''. Breakfast On A Roll. it would be a sub roll with egg, sausage, cheese and home fries for $1.25

I would be so belly up after eating one of those that I'd have to lay horizontally for at least 2 hours afterwards.

Oh man, I made something just like that a couple weeks ago for breakfast.

Wheat sub roll

two eggs over easy (still nice and runny)

sausage gravy

hashbrowns

sharp cheddar

I threw all of that on the roll and put it under the broiler open faced for about 5 minutes. That was one of the best things I ate in a long time.

When I worked at my friends restaurant I would make for breakfast:

2 eggs

Bacon

Ham

Sausage

Cheese all on a Bagel with mayo slathered all over it. I called it The Heart Attack.

I have to watch the cholesterol in my old age. so I only eat that stuff when I'm on vacation. I usually eat Oat Meal or a Met-R-X protein shake for breakfast. although that never cuts it when I'm hung over and need my grease fix.

I've gone on record saying that I want out of Boston - but I will admit it does have it's good qualities:

I work in a section of Boston that happens to be home to the greatest sports bar in the entire nation. That is my opinion and I'm sticking to it. ;) It's called The Fours. Anyway, I'm a five minute walk from the place. This place has some of the best steak tips/turkey tips I've ever had. I was starving today - so, I went to The Fours. Sat at the bar (with 20 tv's) and watched sports center while eating my steak tip/turkey tip mix with extra veggies (yum- asparagus). It was a nice - even if it's colder then heck out there.

I hope the snowplows have created an impenetrable frozen wall across your driveway.

Oh believe me, I don't eat those on a daily basis. That was just a special occasion breakfast. Usually it's just a couple bananas and a cup of yogurt or a couple waffles.
