don't have to be a hall of famer to be the best player on this squad. nevertheless, i do think he's great and he's definitely the best player the jets have. and it's a looooong way down to our second best player.

So Revis Rhodes and Harris are just a bunch of scrubs.

I agree that he is one of the best players on the team right now, but lets wait and see how he transitions to the 34 before we annoint him.

There is still room for improvement on the defense, but there are some very good pieces in place only made better by KJ.

i didn't say they were scrubs but no one really fears them yet. it's pretty ironic that you want to wait to annoint jenkins but are ready to annoint harris and revis-- two second year players who were part of the debacle called the 2007 jets defense.

I'll give you its too early to nype up Revis or Harris, but from what I've seen in the past season is that they can play, and at a high level in the 34, but who knows, could have been a fluke.

Jenkins is going from a 43 to a 34, I think he will be able to make the transition fairly well at least, I'd just think that people should tone down expectations in case things dont go as planned.

all he has to do is not chit the bed to be our best player is kind of the point.

I would hold off on the best player on our defense until he plays. I like the guy and love this move, but he still has a bit of a learning curve and has to stay healthy. I think he can do both and from the games i've seen he has used leverage very well and can be dominant at times; I am extremely excited. I cannot wait to see what harris does with a NT in front of him.

the fact that he hasn't played yet on our atrocious defense is a plus.

I agree, I love this move and it instantly makes the whole defense better, especially if he can play at the probowl level he is capable of.

Injury is the thing. He has been healthy for 2 years. It is the thing I dread most. If he plays, he will have no trouble adjusting.
