IMO, the three toughest postions to fill are CB, QB and NT...if a team has a need at one of those spots it could be a very nice pick.

A week ago i was on the fence about grabing a CB, after grabbing jenkins, and showing interest in pace, and assuming Bowens will get more playing time...i see no reason not to entertain the thought of another CB.

Our offense does need a spark, but i dont' think another running back would do the trick. If there was a receiver in this years draft that was worthy of the top 10, i'd be all for it. Only problem is, there doesn't seem to be a receiver worthy of the first round.

if mcfadden is available we need to trade down. i think with jenkins our de's will be a lot better.

Why trade down ? McFadden will be the starter already, he's just one move away from a 30 yard run. He's amazing.

I agree. If we can even get less than that stupid 'rate chart' getting one first and a high second coupled with a 5th would allow us to take a premier OT, CB (since it's such a deep draft), or (my personal favorite) Dre Moore.

I know Moore is a DT, but putting him at LDE would be the best run D any of us have seen in a very long time. If you think Harris played well last year, i can't wait to see when he has legitament talent in front of him.

Would not be excited to see Miller starting across from Revis. DRC, Jenkins, or McKelvin are all CB options at #6. I would prefer to move down in round #1 to take our top rated corner available or Branden Albert. We could also recoup some picks we gave for KJ and target some OL prospects in round #2 or #3.

FWIW...walterfootball updated their mock and now show us taking McKelvin at #6. http://walterfootball.com/draft2008.php

Ahhh, another wise person whose seeing the light. With the rumors of the jets chasing olivea, picking up albert would totally SOLIDIFY our line for at least 4 years..with dbrick, mangold and albert being under 25. If DMC is there trade down to the cowboys and get those 2 first rounders to work toward Albert and a CB.

the beauty of being big players in FA is that essentially we are gonna be able to take the BPA, whomever it may be

I agree with this. I want DRC or another CB at some point in this draft. I'm not totally comfortable with what we have right now and it looks like there will be some good CB's available in the draft. If DMC is available at 6 and we get a good trade offer to move down I would take it. Otherwise I would be very happy if they just picked DRC.

exactly, which is why everyone was so frustrated last year that we waited to the last minute to pick up role player fa's that didn't fit into mangini's scheme. And for those of you who like dmc, stewart is going to be a lot better rb in the nfl. you trade down and you could get him and your starting cb.

I agree with this part drago-just look at the kind of money good FA CB's demand over the last few years. They are THE big money players (Clement, Samuel) and if you can get one young, and turn him into what Revis is becoming it's a smart move. I saw Cromartie Rogers in the Senior Bowl and the kid LOOKED like a pro along with Sedric Ellis and the South QB that won the game with that excellent drive. Those 3 players were the best seniors out there that day and I wouldn't mind seeing us pick him at 6
