Greenseed3
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...yhoo&type=lgns Just caught this on JI. Apparently Parcells is sold on a youth movement to hollow-out his new team. This could be an indication of a Pace signing.... but more so, I'm thinking this is a precursor move to drafting Chris Long.... That sucks. As I said earlier today, Parcells is weeding out the old vets on this team in order to give the team a fresh new attitude, as opposed to the team thats been there that's used to losing every year. 124
This now makes sense. The Dolphins are in a rebuilding mode and although its hard for them to party ways with big parts of their defense for years in Taylor in Thomas, there simply is no reason to keep either there while they rebuild. By the team is competitive again, both could be retired or past their prime, although Thomas already seems to be in that catagory. However, this does make sense to the Calvin Pace to Miami rumors. With Porter and Taylor in house, what was the need for Pace? We now see why. I would not be surprised if Porter was cut as well so that Miami could draft Long, unless they view Long as an NFL 34 DE, which I, and many others, do not. Hell, with the two DT's they picked up, they could be switching back to the 43, but, how does the Calvin Pace signing make sense? Miami, in short, is doing some interesting, strange things. But most make sense.

I wouldn't doubt Taylor ends up in Dallas, he's married to Zach Thomas's sister and they are close friends.
