BP
Salt water, yes. fresh water, no. I'm known as the duke of fluke, the king of ling, the wizard of whiting, and the baron of blackfish. I also love fishing for stripers, but I haven't come up with a nickname yet.

MrsTaborJet
When I was a kid, my dad would take me fishing all the time. My sister didn't care for it. He would have to put the worm on the hook for me and all I caught were sunnies which we threw back ... but it was fun.
DHJF
I go fishing at every opportunity. Freshwater, sal****er, baitcasting, fly fishing - I do it all. There are lots of small lakes on the Eastern end of Long Island that don't get heavy pressure, so that's where you'll often find me on any given Sat/Sun from late March through October. If not there, I'm in upstate NY fishing for Largemouth, or in central NJ fly fishing for brookies and rainbows in a small arm of the Raritan, or drifting Shinne**** Inlet for fluke, stripers and blues. (I love how the "t w a t" in sal****er and the "c o c k" in Shinne**** got nixed by the profanity filter)

JerryK
I love to fish here in Michigan, but the lakes here get worked over pretty hard. Have any of you been to lake Simcoe north of Toronto? I've heard lots of stories about perch fishing there. Might go next winter.
Alk
F#ck fishing. How is it that when I was 10 I could catch countless fish. Now I couldn't catch a fish if you threw 20 of them in a little plastic swimming pool. Grant is too impatient anyway. He sits there and if he hasn't caught one in 5 minutes he's ready to roll. Bob
I live in the area where the Delaware and the Susquehanna begin. Good trout fishing in the branches of the Delaware and its tributaries. Bass, walleyes and pickerel in the Susquehanna. I end every fishing trip in the Delaware basin by peeing in the stream because the river runs into New York City's reservoirs. Enjoy your tap water. jetscott
It begins as a small stream coming out of Otsego Lake in Cooperstown. wow, never knew that. No, it runs through over 100 miles of New York before it hits the PA border below Binghamton.
