Most likely will appeal.

David Wells of the Boston Red Sox has been suspended for six games and fined an undisclosed amount for his inappropriate conduct, including making contact with Umpires Chris Guccione and Angel Hernandez, during the Toronto-Boston game on July 2, 2005 at Fenway Park.

Unless appealed, Wells' suspension is scheduled to begin during tonight's game. If appealed, his suspension will be held in abeyance until the process is completed.

EBs insightful post begs the question...

which is fatter...David Wells a$$ or the ERA of the "New" Yankee pitching staff?

Dont get used to seeing Redding and Darrell May again.

It was all but a lock that the Yankees would lose today, I didnt feel it with a dud like Redding out there.

I guarantee this, you wont see Redding or May in the playoffs.

Gloat all you want right now, but beating up on Tim Redding doesnt change the fact that you have no bullpen and no ace.

EB...unless we can get a time machine and put your entire roster through it, we wont be seeing any Yankees in the playoffs.
