This big ugly gorilla just lunges over the plate at any outside pitch. Baseball needs to be played right. Its time to brush back Ortiz with some high heat and drill his stupid monkey *** in the back. Maybe Sturtze has the balls...but he ought to concentrate on throwing the ball over the plate. You're lucky Pavano is on the DL. seriously He's the only Yankee this year that has purposely thrown a PURPOSE pitch that has hit a batter and jacked them up inside. randy johnsons been know to throw high and tight. As far as the purpose pitches go, Big Papi gets hit plenty, just not by you guys. The D-Rays have hit him like 10 times this year alone. Guess what, he still digs a hole in the batters box with his cleat and drives just about everyone's fastball into the stratosphere. I doubt youre ever gonna stop that from happening. He's simply one of the best hitters you'll ever see. Honestly, its one part of Jeter's game I actually like. Since he stands on top of the plate, he often gets drilled with a purpose pitch...I've even seen him get hit with an inside strike once in awhile!!! He doesnt stop digging in at all.
