Thai Jet
http://www.billsinsider.com/index.php?name...e&sid=14449 CRAP !!! I honestly thought he would be a nice fit right here wearing Green and White. Good pickup for the "We haven't even made the playoffs this century" Bills. They are very pleased with Evans and are right now talking to him about a longer term deal.
stoicsentry
This is not good. Following a season in which Buffalo already had a more talented team than us, we are having our best off-season in decades and they are still beating us out at that. Lame. I think they looked up and realized that ,of course, NE has more talent than them. Now the Jets are spending like crazy and filling giant holes in their lineup. Parcells is tearing apart the Dolfags rebuilding them with lots of talent. The Bills have GOT to do something to keep pace and they are.

Too bad they will be lucky to make the playoffs.

Bryant Johnson is a "who cares" signing. He's a 3rd WR at best. Whenever Fitzgerald or Boldin went down, he couldn't pick up the load at #2. He's invisible at times too. I'm happy we didn't spend big coin.
124
Not good for us, very good for the Bills. Buffalo finally has a number two receiver to put on the other side of Lee Evans, topped off with Roscoe Parrish in the slot and Marshawn Lynch out of the backfield. With this signing the Bills really improved their offense.

Sperm Edwards
CRAP !!! I honestly thought he would be a nice fit right here wearing Green and White. Good pickup for the "We haven't even made the playoffs this century" Bills. Bryant Johnson is the guy who couldn't assert himself as starter, with Anquan Boldin on the other side taking loads of pressure of him, to the point where Arizona still felt the need to draft Fitzgerald with a top-3 pick. Boldin and Fitzgerald have each been out of the lineup here & there & I don't remember hearing Bryant Johnson's name too much even then.

He makes catches in space, and can get some YAC. His hands are somewhat suspect.

His hands are somewhat suspect. I do remember him dropping a 50-yarder from Leinart right in his hands the year Dennis Green got fired in the "they are who we thought they were!!!" game against Chicago. He's no burner (like Cotchery) & also a 2-3 taller, no?
CrazyCarl40
Still a quality signing, and he is looking to prove himself. Bills are quietly having a pretty good off-season. And I for one would not like to see them move Toronto. It would kill that city.

Granted, the hands thing is a problem for him. Cotch has him there.

I'll try to find out here but "officially" it's not a done deal. However when asked about the signing they haven't come out and denied it either. Anyone who does FF would know if he did anything those games. Without watching the Cards, we all know about Boldin & Fitzgerald (and not because of where they were drafted). Without watching the Cards, we all know about Boldin & Fitzgerald (and not because of where they were drafted). My experience with him is more from the PSU side, and I only got to wyach him sporadically from the Cardinal side of things. He is one of those receivers that has to get in "rhythm" if you can understand that, and if that is not the case, there are times he can dissapear. In otgher words, you have to throw him the ball and get him involved, and sporadic playing does not help him. A Lee Evans would help clear him space, and they would make a very nice complimentary tandem.

Thai Jet
They were interviewing Bryant Johnsons agent about 1/2 an hour a go and said the reports were false and that WR Bryant Johnson has NOT signed with the Bills. He's scheduled to visit several other places this week in fact.

Hackett, when healthy, is a very good receiver.
