johnny green balls
great moves thus far this offseason now tangini needs to put a cherry on this sucker and bring in a big talent WR.
PhinHater
I agree, especially if we get Chatman. I would like McFadden, but not if we make this move. We can actually make this team solid all the way around. But, what kind of WRs are still available in FA?

SoFlaJets
randy moss, jabar gaffney, eric moulds, nate washington. a few solid receivers still FA I like Gaffney-I still wish there was some way we could get Chad Johnson-b/c we right now only have 2 WRs on the roster...Brad Smith is not and never will be a pro level receiver-Wallace Wright and Chansi Stuckey, who I used to have big hopes for are just as much as a question mark as they were last spring-Coles? I really don't think he'll even BE here
L.I.MikeBleedsGreen
The Kid needs someone to go down the field and make great catches for him, who that is ? I have no idea ,But I do know we need a WR badly and a CB aswell. Maybe draft a WR in the second rd and pick up Deangelo Hall on the cheap (he has Issues ) but who doesn't . JayKwaz
Limas Sweed, 6'-4" ran a sub 4.5 forty and is said to have a great work ethic and good hands. He is my choice.

What stud is out there now for the taking? We traded away most of our chips. Sweed as a 3 would be perfect behind Coles and Cotch.

PeterNorth09
randy moss, jabar gaffney, eric moulds, nate washington. a few solid receivers still FA Moss is never coming here. If he did, Mangin would be trying to trade him by week 2. Moulds is ancient. Shouldn't even be in the NFL anymore. Gaffney and Washington are scrubs. Roy Williams is a tremendous receiver and he's only 26. If the Jets gave the Lions a 2nd round pick for him I wouldn't be unhappy about that at all. PeterNorth09
let's hope he's really pissed off the lions brass and he's being shopped behind closed doors. I think Millen is trying to play hardball and probably hasn't gotten a great offer for Roy Williams yet. The Lions apparently have a ton of money tied up in wr's meanwhile the rest of the team is going to sh*t. If the Jets offered next year's 1st round pick for Roy Williams he'd probably be ours. JayKwaz
I read soemwhere that Chad Johnson if cut or traded would cost the Bengals over 10 million, like Ellis does for us. He isn't going anywhere. I am all for getting Roy but Millen said he isn't being traded. Until that happens there is noone out there better than what we have until the draft. My vote is for Sweed with our second round pick. jets rooter
the jets will draft a w.r.with 3 4th round picks.I presume that the jets will draft a w.r.there are many to choose from in this draft.
will
Limas Sweed, 6'-4" ran a sub 4.5 forty and is said to have a great work ethic and good hands. He is my choice. The problem with Sweed (Hardy, DeJean Jax and Malcolm Kelly) relative to the Jets is that they are not worth the 6th pick and they will all be gone by the time #36 rolls around. This ought to be a fun and exciting draft for Jet fans. Two years ago Ferguson was the choice - safe, no drama. Last year Revis was drafted but because of the trade up with CAR it happened fast so again no drama. This year should provide drama: big names and plenty of movement possibilities. I really don't think he'll even BE here Chad would require some serious draft picks - and quite frankly, with all the moves the Jets have made thus far - completely addressing your biggest issue to the point where it should no longer be an issue - it's not a far stretch to think that the Jest woudl be willing to relinquish a high draft pick or two.
