124
Good signing for Oakland, but way, way too much money. I wanted him, but thankfully the Jets weren't crazy like Oakland to give him that kind of dough.
Sperm Edwards
The terms of the deal call for Walker to receive a six-year, $55 million contract that includes more than $16 million in guarantees and pays him roughly $27 million over the first three years of the deal. DieHardJetsFan
Javon Walker is still a solid WR, only 29 years of age, can still make big plays and help just about any Offesne, at the same time, he's simply not worth the money that he was asking for-the money that he got. 6 years? THats crazy, 2 years could have been the smartest move for the Raiders. In 2005 he only played one game In 2006 he played 16 games, 69 receptions, 1084 yards with 8 TD's The problem is... In 2007 he only played 8 games with only 26 receptions and less than 300 yards receiving WITH 0 TD's. Thats the problem, in three seasons Javon Walker has been healthy for 1 season and last season when he played half the season, he wasnt even productive. Im glad with the moves the Jets have done this free agency, when I see what teams like the Raiders are doing.

He is the Javon Walker of baseball. If he puts in 40 innings before he hits the DL (most likely via the operating table), I will be shocked. Don't they have a GM school or something for pro sports?
