faba
Former starting QB Harrington released by Falcons By STEVE WYCHE The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Published on: 03/05/08 The Falcons released veteran quarterback Joey Harrington Wednesday afternoon, leaving them with only two players at the position and further enhancing the likelihood that they will draft a quarterback April 26-27. Recently re-signed quarterback Chris Redman and third-year player D.J. Shockley - who is still not recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee - are the only quarterbacks on the roster. Besides drafting a quarterback - possibly with the No. 3 overall selection - Atlanta likely will sign a veteran free agent at some point. Harrington, signed as a free agent last spring, started 10 games last season after being thrust into the No. 1 role following the NFL's indefinite suspension of then-starting quarterback Michael Vick. He had seven TDs and eight INTs and 2,215 yards.

BwanaZulia
Joey needs to give it up. He is no good and no amount of hiring or firing is going to make him better. BZ

drago
Chad does the Dirty Bird. someone should tell chad if you want to throw a spiral, grab it by the laces and keep your weight on your back foot. Who know, if he does that, he might be the starter next year.
