PakiJet
Correct.. yeayyyyyyyyyyyyyy:) lol I LOVE THE JETS AND WHAT THEY HAVE DOEN THIS OFFSEASON.... THE JETS WILL WIN THE AFC EAST. I WOULD BE SHOCKED IF NEW ENGLAND WAS THE SECOND PLACE TEAM. JETS INPROVED VASTLY, SO DID MIAMI, AND BUFFALO, NEW ENGLAND LOST BOTH OF ITS STARTING CB? AND ITS SPEEDSTER WR. hopefully brady gets knocked out by a hobo off the street lol:box:
PakiJet
I'm almost positive it's this year on the Skins trade. Bravejamriot
if im not mistaken hat KENDALL is a 2009 4th round pick:character0282: Yes, it was conditional 5th this year or a 4th next year. We got the 4th next year from it

PakiJet
Yes, it was conditional 5th this year or a 4th next year. We got the 4th next year from it the fourth round is the charm for us jets lets go for the fourth round pic:p
DieHardJetsFan
If im not mistaken, I believe the draft works like this... If a team picks 9th in the 1st, they pick 8th in the 2nd, 7th in the 3rd, 6th in the 4th and so on So I believe we pick 6th in the first round 5th in the second round 3rd in the 4th round 21st in the 4th round (Nevermind, we dont have the 3rd or 5th because of the Jenkins trade) 2nd in the 6th round 1st in the 7th round But then again, I may have heard wrong? JayKwaz
We have the 2009 fourth rounder for Kendall from the Skins. Plus we have 5th pick in the second, 4th in the third if we still had it it, and then 3rd ipick in the 4th. then we go back to 6th in the 5th if we still had it. all of the 4 win teams rotate every round. jetfuel
Ok, I understand now Do we have two picks in the 4th round? Yes ... we would have had three if the D-Rob trade went through. There's still hope of him being dealt.
jetfuel
Yes, it was conditional 5th this year or a 4th next year. We got the 4th next year from it Thanks for clearing that up - now if they can get D-Rob dealt they should get at least another 4th rounder. #27TheDominator
So as of right now, we would have the 3rd and 21st picks in the 4th rouns? If Jetfuel's chart was right we'd have the 10th, not the 21st. We have the Saints pick for Vilma, not the 'skins pick for Kendall-we get the 'skins fourth in '09. I just remember when we drafted Leon Washington in the 4th round, a player with alot of talent and all the potential in the world. The fact that we have two early 4th round picks is really exciting. So we pick 3rd and 10th in the 4th round? We really have a chance to make a splash in the draft. I say we go Gholston with the 6th pick in the 1st round. And go Kenny Phillips with the 5th pick in the 2nd round (He may still be on the board) Kerry Rhodes, Darrell Revis, David Harris, Vernon Gholston and Kenny Phillips would be really EXCITING, for years to come, with players like Jenkins, Pace, Barton, Ellis and Coleman all making plays for this 3-4 Defense. Lets not forget, with the two 4th round picks, we could go WR-CB or even just draft for deph

Lets not forget, with the two 4th round picks, we could go WR-CB or even just draft for deph I think if they are going to get rid of Coles they are going to need to get a WR early in the draft. Otherwise they have Cotchery ..... actually, even with Coles they need to get someone. I like Stuckey a lot but who knows if he'll stay on the field. Smith blows as a WR but is a great athlete and good complimentary weapon. Wright is a special teams ace but who knows as a WR. They have a couple of other young receivers (Ball and Davis) they are looking at but that usually doesn't pan out. I love Gholston but I think they may have to trade back because of all the big contracts and how much a top-10 pick gets paid. To me, more picks are better right now anyway. I'm not against Phillips but they do still have Elam and I'd like to see him get a chance. They picked up Artrell Hawkins too. They still have Erik Smith as well. I'm not saying that those guys are as good as Phillips can be but the teams needs at WR, LB, CB, and DE (an heir apparent to Ellis if not someone to push him for playing time) may outweigh that need. I wouldn't hate them getting Phillips if they can secure some extra picks by trading back in round 1. Just think that is a smaller need right now.
