124
Better. If Rodgers-Cromartie is going to go that high, I'd rather the Jets take him at six.

Bravejamriot
Better. If Rodgers-Cromartie is going to go that high, I'd rather the Jets take him at six. I agree. 7 seems high for him, but I'd rather the jets have him. CB is a bigger need than OLB right now. Couldn't complain about Gholston though
slats
I agree. 7 seems high for him, but I'd rather the jets have him. CB is a bigger need than OLB right now. Couldn't complain about Gholston though I'd like the defense to develop into one that gets after the passer better, rather than be better in coverage. If we can't get to Brady, he'll find the open player eventually, no matter who the Jets have on the corners.
DieHardJetsFan
The Jets were so lucky that Revis turned out to be a #1 CB while showing ALOT of potential in being a shutdown CB for years to come, and no1 can deny that Revis is a top 10 CB in terms of tackling ability goes. If the Jets drafted Gholston who has the Size, Speed, Agility and Strength to play like a Ware or Merriman for this 3-4 Defense, I would be in love with the fact that the Patriots will have a rookie CB starting for thier secondary next year. Im sorry, but CB is a tough position, you can get a NFL Stud, or you can get another J.Miller bust

Hopefully we have one this year and we see what he is really capable of.

DieHardJetsFan
Love it. Really want Gholston to give this team a pass rush. With Jenkins up front anchoring of this D-Line, Harris as the leader in the Middle, along Pace and Gholston rushing the QB from the outside as 3-4 OLB's, aswell as dropping back into coverage, this Mangini type of 3-4 Defense can be really exciting with Rhodes and Revis in the secondary with players such as Barton, Ellis, Thomas and Coleman all helping this team while knowing thier role. And s

Matt39
LOL, POTW NOM and God damn right too. Bryan Thomas ****ing sucks!!! For a guy coming out of college as a pass rushing specialist- he really has zero pass rushing skills whatsoever.

Bravejamriot
you want to pay him 20 million to sit on the bench? I think he deserves another chance on the field
stoicsentry
Gholston is the guy at 6. Don't want to risk starting Thomas after last year. If he has a comeback season, then we have 3 solid OLB's, not a bad problem to have for a 3-4 defense.
Favorite_Toon
The Raiders restructured Dominic Rhodes' contract, ensuring he will remain with the team in 2008. His salary fell from $3 million to $1.75 million. Rhodes played well when given a shot in 2007, totaling 338 yards vs. the Colts, Jags, and Chargers in the final three games. He won't enter camp higher than second on the depth chart, but this is more bad news for Michael Bush's chances of splitting time with Justin Fargas. It's unclear what Oakland will do with LaMont Jordan. Mar. 5 - 9:40 pm et no way mcfadden goes to them
