Wow, can this be?

They were absolutely FINE 20 minutes ago, now both are screaming up a storm. Gas, gas and more gas.

Then, the power went out twice with these high winds.

The liquor will be for me later to get myself calmed down.

Wow.

;)

do you know the football hold ( really not kidding here..) where you hold them so their bellies lie on your arms? it helps to relieve gas....you might want to try it..

Yes! Started doing that recently... it does help.

So, they are changed and fed and rather peaceful now.

I hope it lasts for a little while at least!

Gavin wants to be held a lot... Olivia is fine either way.

Silly me thinking I'd get my mid-term done tonight. :confused0058:

Yikes.

sorry... that made me rotfl .. twins no less... heh!

if you have the chance to eat without being interrupted, you should be happy ;)

of course my daughter never slept more then 2 hours at a time morning or night for over 13 months. no wonder she is an only child!

I'll tell my sister that. They are only 10 weeks old and some are asking "are they sleeping through the night yet?" I mean c'mon people!

Others I've talked to said their baby was sleeping through the night right away and others said up to 15 months it was only 2-3 hrs at a time.

No wonder my sister is beside herself.

Sleep deprivation is a killer.

Mrs T -- hope you are having fun. It is family fun night in the Max house. Having a camp out in the basement with the 2 younger ones. Rocking to the high school musical cd right now, lol.

We are having fun, the wine is also making it much better! haha.

They were both sleeping soundly until my sister called to check on everything. They said they were going to a parking lot for a few hours... not to make out or anything like that... BUT TO SLEEP in silence. LOL.

Ah, the memories.

I have 15 year old twin boys and I don't miss the days of sleep deprivation.

Talk to me in a year when they start driving and I'll probably be singing a different tune.

Sounds like your mom is pretty cool (was the liquor run her idea?) And you are one great sister!

Yes! My mom is very cool. To clarify, it's not like we were lining up tequila shots or something and teaching the babies bad habits ... she just went out for a bottle of wine for me and she got vodka. Hell, the liquor store was right next to the restaurant we ordered takeout from... who could resist?!! NOT ME!

:wine:

OH...haha... they came home around 10pm and my sister was lit up like a Christmas tree! haha. This was the first time out in a longggggggggg time. They had fun, she felt it the next day. Yikes.
