MrsTaborJet
Wow, can this be? They were absolutely FINE 20 minutes ago, now both are screaming up a storm. Gas, gas and more gas. Then, the power went out twice with these high winds. The liquor will be for me later to get myself calmed down. Wow.

Wow. do you know the football hold ( really not kidding here..) where you hold them so their bellies lie on your arms? it helps to relieve gas....you might want to try it.. http://video.about.com/babyparenting/The-Football-Hold-for-Babies.htm

Started doing that recently... it does help. So, they are changed and fed and rather peaceful now. I hope it lasts for a little while at least! Gavin wants to be held a lot... Olivia is fine either way. Silly me thinking I'd get my mid-term done tonight. Yikes.

I'll tell my sister that. They are only 10 weeks old and some are asking "are they sleeping through the night yet?" I mean c'mon people! Others I've talked to said their baby was sleeping through the night right away and others said up to 15 months it was only 2-3 hrs at a time. No wonder my sister is beside herself. Sleep deprivation is a killer.

They were both sleeping soundly until my sister called to check on everything. They said they were going to a parking lot for a few hours... not to make out or anything like that... BUT TO SLEEP in silence. LOL.

Talk to me in a year when they start driving and I'll probably be singing a different tune.

MrsTaborJet
Sounds like your mom is pretty cool (was the liquor run her idea?) And you are one great sister! Yes! My mom is very cool. To clarify, it's not like we were lining up tequila shots or something and teaching the babies bad habits ... she just went out for a bottle of wine for me and she got vodka. Hell, the liquor store was right next to the restaurant we ordered takeout from... who could resist?!! NOT ME! OH...haha... they came home around 10pm and my sister was lit up like a Christmas tree! haha. This was the first time out in a longggggggggg time. They had fun, she felt it the next day. Yikes.
