Yup, I watched it as a Netflick last week. Very good movie. I liked his character better here than in the Jessie James movie.

gangreenman
Saw it in theatres. Good drama movies like that have become sort of a rarity in todays world...I liked it a lot.
JerryK
Well made, but depressing. It would be nice to think families that screwed up aren't very common...but I wonder.

dickkotite
but that movie reminds me of how creepy bostonians are. definately second class citizens, when compared to the good people of the empire state
SouthernJet
Great great flick DK... IMHO Amy Ryan's performance as "Helene McCready" was the best job this year,,she was nominated for Oscar, but didnt win.. http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/gonebabygone?q=gone%20baby
Garb
SPOLIER ALERT!!! Dick calling Bostonians creepy. Hahaahaha.....creep. The movie was good. But it had one major flaw: The idea that an older black man can reside in NEW HAMPSHIRE with his older wife (white) and a little 3 year old blonde, green eyed girl and go about his business without any "funny looks" or questions is foolish. I wanted to now what he was saying to the neighbors. "Hey, my wife's kid died and we are raising the grandchild."

afosomf
got to see this movie... had to watch it twice... once with subtitles the Bahstan accent can be like a foreign language at times the characters is this film were pretty creepy, specially the coke addicts/pedophile. That woman gave me nightmares. All in all good film, not going to make anyone want to make a quick visit to Bahstan anytime soon, it seems to be filled with rehtards and Kweers. Anyone want a tonic;)

Great movie. Casey Affleck is everywhere these days, overshadowing his brother (who happened to direct this movie).

afosomf
The chick from The Wire did a phenomenal job as the mother. Good flick. she was good but too me it would be easy to play a coke head alcoholic a-hole. They could have gone into that neigborhood and cast that part to many. Every other word was F this and F that.

She was good but to me not worthy of an Oscar. uh, acting is more than a accent,,aka brando in godfather,,was his job easy cause he had a italian accent.. her great job wasnt about the accent, it was about the non caring 'drugs rule my life' white trash attitidude,,the fact you felt it was easy is usually a key tha tshe totally had you sold on the character... Like I said, Good Job not Oscar worthy. Affleck did a great job as did his girlfriend. Ed harris is always good too The wife of the child molester really creeped me out, you suppose there are people that ugly in Bahston? Did they pick her out of the projects?
