Green Jets & Ham
All bluster aside .. there is only one word to describe Uncle Al's performance tonite, "inspiring" Well actually there is another word .. "dominant" ... but the inspiring side of the equation, for what it means to this ball-club over the long haul, is even more important than the dominant side of the equation Let's be honest, losing Wang was a real kick in the stomach for this organization ... from top to bottom ... from the owner right down to the fans, and everywhere in-between ... that was the kind of blow that can just suck the air out of everyone And after watching Tim Redding get his absolute face kicked in when we needed to pull him off the scrap heap, it only drove the message home that much more ... that losing Wang was a likely death blow ENTER UNCLE AL By walking into fenway and flatout dominating the Red Sox lineup as he did, it basically sent a message to the entire organization ... owner to the fans, and everywhere in-between Pick up your chins and stop your sulking .. there's a new sheriff in town .. one who has been through the wars and one who cannot be bamboozled .. one who knows how to pitch when the stakes are high, never fears a challenge, and even WELCOMES THE CHALLENGE .. and a pros pro who will fight you till the last dog dies! Be of good cheer, Uncle Al said tonite ... we have only just begun to fight, and I fight to win! That's why his effort tonite was every bit as inspiring as it was dominant ... and it was dominant
