this could be pretty cool-to be able to go back to say that September issue when Namath threw for 496 yards and 6 TD's...and anything else....what would you like to read about again as it happened then?

When I was in college, they had most of the old issues still on file-- except for the swimsuit issues...:1cry:

Every once in awhile I would take a break from studying and read some... the best section was the amateur athlete spotlight or whatever it was called... seeing how many of those people became a famous athlete or just ended up nowhere. Interesting read.

I would love to see someone do a "Where are they now" followup on the people who never made it and why...

Archie Griffin-I remember him being spotlighted as a HS athelete-he had sick numbers Junior and senior years

George Plimpton probably intended for the "April Fools" to start after the word "Yogi."

So it would be-
