Boy some of you need to learn that this thread was a joke in response to NOExcuses's thread.

Now, Jedi_Jet, you are the first person ever to ask for my banning. Kinda funny, kinda cute. Too bad it could never happen, at least on JetNation, the site that cares. Now if you would like to get banned yourself, just say something and I can make it happen fairly quickly. ;-)

Whoa im going get band WHOA =O im scared. Go play in your sandbox clown ;)

I said what i said because the Topic is non related to Jets topic. If your going to damage my rep by being stupid then i have no problem being kicked or baned from the site. I followed the rules on the site and some Mods think there over it. I just find it childish that OH IS MCFADDEN JESUS... Get real thats something my 10 year old cousin would say.

How did I damage your rep? Did I tell all the kids you let me finger bang you under the bleachers?

Jet streams

Either the Jets are blowing smoke or they're extremely intrigued with McFadden.

For starters, they flew a contingent of team officials to Arkansas last week to meet with McFadden.

Another contingent of Jets officials is scheduled to attend McFadden's Pro Day workout in Arkansas on Tuesday. The Jets are planning to meet with McFadden after his drills.

And if that wasn't enough time with the Razorbacks running back, the Jets also have scheduled McFadden to visit them in New York on April 16, one day after he is in St. Louis to visit the Rams.

If the Jets are faking interest in McFadden, they are investing a lot of time, manpower and money for nothing. More likely they are very interested in the type of offensive playmaker the team currently lacks.

McFadden would bring a home-run threat the Jets offense has lacked. New York also knows that McFadden will not go in the top three picks unless a team trades up to take him.

whether they take him or not is unknown,,whats NOT unkown is that every team in Top10 historically shows mega interest in players who may be drafted near them to enhance trading possibilities

Great find Toon. If the Jets land McFadden, I would be so pumped up for this Offense, we would have an exciting back, for a long time. McFadden and Leon Washington could be one of the best 1-2 punches for years to come

Toon, You're actually putting me off McFadden.

Why? because im finding news story to support the idea of taking him.. if you really want him on the team then nobody can change your mind..

this could be (i hope) a sort of "insurance policy." on the off chance both gholston and long get drafted in picks 1-5 and leave mcfadden sitting there @ 6, all the interest the jets are showing might force jerry jones' hand and to "get his guy" he just might be willing to give up both 1st rounders plus a 3rd, which we don't have. though i do admit that is an awful lot of posturing.

No, probably because you're acting more like his publicist than a fan.

They have to interview him. What if both Long's, Gholston, and Ryan are gone, but McFadden's still there. And they aren't able to trade down.

Would they really pass on McFadden to take a CB or reach for the first WR by 5-10 slots?

They have to interview him just as they have to interview every player that could be sitting there at #6, making this hardly a "new story" really. They also have to interview players lower down in case they are able to trade down, as in how far down are they willing to go?

So this is hardly newsworthy to me.

No Sperm your wrong... they interviewd him at the combine... they flew down staff to go over x's and o's and now they will attend his proday... and then after that sitdown with him again...

So now can you name me any other college player the jets seem to spending alot of attention on?? thats been reported...

Dont worry I'll wait..

Interesting point T, but I throw this out as a possibility...

The reason might be that it's entirely possible he is there at 6.

They might have to make a very big decision on him and with his off field problems

during his college career they are really putting him thru the ringer to see if down the road

they may be stuck with a big headache.

We fixed the o-line, either trade down, or draft a beast of a DE. We need someone to get to the QB fast.

Yeah but we run the 3-4 and OLB's are the ones who pressure the QB, we dont run a 4-3 where DE's like Taylor, Freeney, Osi, and John Abe can all get to the QB. I really cant name one 3-4 DE that gets over 10 sacks per year

Thats a possibilty.. im sure they are doing there homework... and im sure there alot of smoke screens but im sure there is legitimate interest on the jets part..
