I'll go with average, but I might have preferred an all of the above option. I think our OL will be average, but it will make us more than a little better. It also probably won't be as good as planned and is being overrated by many posters who now feel set with Damien Woody at RT.

I couldn't make an all of the above option, because how can someone feel the line sucks, and is overrated, but at the same time they feel the line will make us better.

the O-line is good, should be one of the more solid lines by the middle/end of the season, which is really when you want your team getting hot. we should also see much improved offensive production as a result. i'm not saying 30ppg, but good enough to help out the D and allow it (the D) to stay aggressive.

I don't think they suck. I think they sucked so bad last year that the team will be monumentally improved by having an average O line this year. I think people expecting Damien Woody to be a monster at RT will probably be sadly disappointed.

Yeah I agree, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he was the weak link of our OL this season.

Like I said though, I think the left side could be one of the strongest in the league. Look for us to run the ball alot behind Brick, Faneca and Mangold. Brick looked very improved in run blocking last season although we very rarely ran that side for obvious reasons.

He gave up something like 13 sacks last year and he's probably average at run blocking, another average year and the nickname D'Bust might stick.

He didn't give up 13 sacks, it was a high number though but IMO it didn't do Bricks performance justice .

I watched Brick very closely this year and was very impressed TBH, he was playing beside a human turnstile and still held up pretty well. I remember that dallas game where he gave up 2 sacks to DeMarcus, which IMO were both on KC (The first he held onto the ball waaaaay too long and the 2nd time he turned and ran straight into Ware after initiallty taking off to the right). A similar sack occured vs Miami IIRC.

Personally I thought he was much improved, it was tough to judge his run blocking because we avoided running behind Clarke more often than not.

I still have high hopes for him.
