When we had those 4 first rounders I was just curious. who could we have picked (20/20 hindsight I know) with each and every pick. Which players were available to us which each pick? and how would have it changed our fortunes?

LOL, beat me to it.

As long as we could have came away with him I wouldn't care about the other 3.

your missing the point. Of course Brady- but we had 4 picks. you can pick one guy from every year that was a standout no one knew about. if we nailed four who would they have been?

I'd pick Tom Brady and then Brady again 3 more times to make sure.

Happy??;-)

Parcells drafted very well that year. Pennington, Abraham and Coles in the third round. Ellis sucks, especially in the 3-4, and Becht got a bad rap when he was here but a 1st round pick is high for a blocking TE.

Brady was a total fluke. No way anybody could have seen that.

Tom Brady. Adalious Thomas

No way Tom Brady is as good as he is had he been a first round draft pick. He came into the league with everything to prove, from getting benched, to almost not getting drafted at all. He put in tons of time just to make the team, and he was playing with no pressure at all on him to be a good, let alone, great QB.

12 John Abraham

13 Julian Peterson (over Ellis)

18 Shaun Alexander (over Chad)

27 Keith Bulluck (over Becht)

2001 #16 Drew Brees (over Moss)

The D would have been nasty, and with Shaun splitting carries with Curtis, maybe they're still running.

Daydreaming is fun...la-ti-da...
