bobbyjet69
Not that we need another thread like this but, I Just saw on NFL network Adam S said the Jets flew a bunch of scouts out to meet with DMC( we already knew this) But, they are gonna fly out again on April 15 to meet with him again. He thinks the Jets are gonna grab him if he's there. All you DMC lovers should be happy. I just hope he proves me wrong if we do take him.

I have found the positives in taking nearly all of the top propects.
Lil Bit Special
But, they are gonna fly out again on April 15 to meet with him again. they want to make sure he gets his taxes done on time. Jets front office- The front office that cares.

Favorite_Toon
Now irish jet playing both sids of the fence... lol You didbnt wnat him and argued with me over and over..and now you are ok with it?? choose a position... and stick to it already lol Its ok irish.. I am watching for more opinions to change as we get close to the draft and even more if we select him.. BTW..thank god I didnt start a new thread about that..the mods woul dhave had my head over it!!! can we say double standard?? LOL
Mistalava
You know, we can't control who is off the board by the time we pick but it looks like the FO is really covering all the bases. I'm feeling good about this and think that no matter how the draft plays out, we'll get the BPA and will be OK. Any of the names mentioned as possibilities at #6 will step in in contribute immediately, albeit in different ways.

NY JET 29
I'll be happy as long as we take either McFadden, Gholston, or Matt Ryan. Same here, but I think we should still take Mckelvin over Mcfadden. Plus DMC will go to Oakland.

They showed highlights of Gholston beating Jake Long. Made me salivate even more!!
Maxman
We do seem to be putting a lot of time into McFadden. i wouldn't be surprised or dissapointed to see us take him. I am just glad they are putting time into anybody. Sometimes there are multiple right answers. The old regime would just be getting back from Disney right now. They were back for a few days before Bradway could be heard complaining about the commute to Long Island from Atlantic City or wherever the hell he lives. Sorry to go off topic but Bradway clearly didn't have control over his own house. Not sure why anyone expected him to have control over this franchise. bobbyjet69
This is the type of player we need, he's a complete playmaker. I don't think so. To me a complete playmaker can put his head down and push the pile for an extra yd or 2. (along with the breakout speed) I DON"T see this in DMC. He only did 13 reps in the bench press. that can be worked on though. He is just pure speed. And that's it, no vision, or strenght.( and don't tell me he has vision, that blind Governor in NY could see the holes he ran through in college) That's why he's either make or break. If he is there at 6 ( I still think oakland takes him at 4) you can expect a call from Jerry Jones for a trade of there (2) first round picks for that slot. He said he will not trade up into the top 5, not top 6;) If he didn't want to trade up he would've said he's not interested in any trading. Well he mentioned the guaranteed money as a major factor & the #6 pick is going to get about $20M guaranteed on a $40-50M deal. His picks at #22 and #28 will both get deals in the neighborhood of 5 yrs / $10M. So the contracts of his two first rounders is less than half of the contract of a single player at #6. And you still have $20M to use on another starter. He also made the comment that everyone wants to trade down & no one wants to trade up because of the money & draft picks. Anything is possible with that guy I guess, but it's pretty unlikely he'd kill his team like that.

Arsis
These guys in out FO now are better drafters than ole hermy, so I can say that they have earned my trust, if they draft mcfadden, I will trust that he is a game breaking player.
