Barton
So all I keep hearing about is how Gholston feasted on weak competition to pad his sack totals. So who the hell did Chris Long ever play against that was so good? Last time I checked the ACC was garbage.

Who was Marques Colston going up against in college? Same for Wayne Chrebet. Jerry Rice? Didn't Michael Strahan play for an HBCU? I doubt Strahan lined up against future HOF'ers every Saturday. Barton
A lot of Long's sacks came from rushing in 3 down linemen fronts. Good point. I just dont understand the whole "Gholston feasted on weak comp" statements, considering most of his sacks ( 7 of his 14 sacks) were against Wisconsin and Michigan this season, not exactly bad teams. And I actually like Chris Long more.
madmike1
Neither. The more I hear about Gholston he sounds like a workout wonder and Long doesn't fit in the jets' D.
Greenseed3
Long and/or Gholston would fit our defense just fine.
CoachTsurfing
At 6 this is who I would consider. Either of the longs, Ghoulston, or DMC. That's it. Otherwise I trade down. If I can't trade down then I go with one of the top corners.

JetsMan57
Gholston has the upside and Long has the intangibles. If it were up to me Id take Long and run.

nylarry
Chris Long had 2 sacks in 12 games in 2005,,,5 sacks in 12 games in 2006 and 14 sacks in 13 games in 2007,,,,Plus he got knocked around by Jeff Otah of Pittsbugh..sounds like a project to me,,,a gamble,,,,could be a bust..I DONT THINK I WOULD TAKE HIM AT 6 EVEN THOUGH HE HAS BEEN PROJECTED AS A CANT MISS PROSPECT NYLARRY
