If you bet Lakers -11.5 then the Lakers must win by MORE than 11. If you bet Wizards +11.5 then for you to win the Lakers have to win by LESS than 11, or you can also win the bet if the Wizards just win the game. Either way I win money, because I bet on both, and I already have alot of money, so whether I get the 200 from LA, or 800 from Washington i'll be happy, but I obviously want the 800 more;) I had 2100 when i bet on this game, so if the Lakers get me 200 i'll go from 2100 to 1828, which isn't that big of a difference. If Washington covers I go from the 2100 I had before to the 2400's. I'd rather go up, but if I go down i'll be very happy I bet on both teams, and at least got 200 out of it.
