A total "NO-NO!" - and stressed to each team, by the NFL - via correspondence prior to the 2007 Season. BB- the arrogant schmuck that his is - ignored the mandate. He got busted. His wallet got leaner. The team got meaner. They lost a first round draft pick. A solid message was sent to the entire league. Now, this will all be a complete non-story if, like most other teams do - they filmed from the stands. So, yeah, they "cheated." But I've yet to hear a plausible explanation as to how that could help them in-game? How smart are the NE coaches? You are telling me that some savant is processing film as it's being filmed? Decodes the signs and processes it in what? 2 minutes? three minutes? And, seeing that every team tries to decode by film or other methods (because - gee wiz, OC's just like covering their mouths when they send in a play 'cause it looks super cool ) for use to try to determine game plan in the future - how is it not part of the NFL? Not to mention the fact that it's been common practice for MANY years to change the signals from game to game because of teh practice of teams trying top decode? This has all been blown-up so out of proportion it's not even funny. I also finds it rather amsuing that Jets fans clam on to it life a life perserver.
