AFJF
I figured tonight will be our first extended look at the 'pen. If he gives up less than 5 I'd be shocked.
Arsis
I don't know, it is early in the year I think we can get like 4-5 decent 5 inning 4 run starts from moose before he breaks down.
124
6 or 7 in 3 innings most likely. F'ing Moose.

Jetlag
I've NEVER liked Moose on this team and this year is no exception. The only thing I can hope is that last year he learned that the Yankees don't really expect much from him so he doesn't have that weight on his shoulders. He pitches worse with that weight. Blackout
can't win em all but Alex could've been a hero if he tied the game up. or even just got a single. but he was responsible for it being 5-2 and not 5-0 in the first place
124
You're right about that blackout. Theres no way he has a chance to tie it there in the 9th if it wasn't for his 7th inning HR. It just wasn't our night. Oh well.
JonEJet
Moose hung in there for us tonight It;s early. and Moose has to change his approach a bit. I still think he'll be okay for us
Gainzo
and no support from the offense. I heard "Hooray Rod" hit a 2 run homer when the Yankees were down 5-0. The Yankees have plenty of offense but their bullpen sucks balls.
uart
Moose hung in there for us tonight It;s early. and Moose has to change his approach a bit. I still think he'll be okay for us He's going to struggle this year. He'll have some flashes of his former self, but he'll never really be that guy again. Joe Torre couldn't perma-bench him. Do any of you think Girardi will?
GM
I heard "Hooray Rod" hit a 2 run homer when the Yankees were down 5-0. The Yankees have plenty of offense but their bullpen sucks balls. Ummm...their Pen has given up 1 run to boston's
MagicBizkit87
Moose did better than I thought he would do. If Mussina is matched up with other teams 5's, and goes 5 innings and 3 or 4 runs every time, he may be fine.
MagicBizkit87
Ummm...their Pen has given up 1 run to boston's 4 Yeah, if anything the hitting has been the problem, not the pitching. You can't really get mad at the hitting though. Burnett, and Halladay are great pitchers.

MagicBizkit87
Nice of you to leave out the fact that the Red Sox have played 4 games already. That just means that we're on pace to allow 2 bullpen runs after 4 games, of course after two games Manny was on pace to get how many rbi's??? lol
The Troll
I heard "Hooray Rod" hit a 2 run homer when the Yankees were down 5-0. The Yankees have plenty of offense but their bullpen sucks balls. It's not possible to hit a five run homer. The ARod criticism is ridiculous.

Maxman
Moose hung in there for us tonight It;s early. and Moose has to change his approach a bit. I still think he'll be okay for us I do think he will be alright (as a # 5). The biggest problem is he is going to get lit up a few times when he has a bad night. He doesn't have much room for error. But by all means, he is the least of their worries.
