Fact is we don't even have on-third the info the GM's and scouts of so who are we to say who a team needs to pick let alone will be a success

BroadwayJ667
I'm not advocating anything. I'm just tired of people saying we have to draft McFadden or Gholston or Flacco, or Goff or Harvey. Frankly whoever the Jets pick i believe will be a good player. thats it
124
mark my words, Flacco will be a better qb than anyone on our roster Boy thats really going out on a limb and making a bold prediction. I mean, how the hell could Joe Flacco out perform a QB with two shoulder surgeries who strikes fear in no one and a guy whose started 8 games. Insane to think Flacco could outplay them. SayNoToDMC
ok, Flacco will be a multiple pro-bowler, hes got it and we should grab him **** you should be our GM. I thought he may have the tools to develop into a good QB, but you already know he's a pro bowl level player.... I know this might sound like a silly question, but is it to early to ask if Flacco is going to Canton?

uart
mark my words, Flacco will be a better qb than anyone on our roster In three years, this is very possible. He is, however, a project. Mark MY words: He's a "tools" guy, who is in need of a LOT of coaching before he's going to be believable in the NFL. As someone who has seen him blow games against inferior opponents. fastmover
The more I watch of him, the more impressed I become with his skillset. He is very fluid and makes it look effortless. He threw the ball 71 yards then followed up with a 74 yarder at the qb callenge. He never looks spazzed or lost like kellen. Watch some kellen college film and you see his panic mode, that he still has in the nfl. If flacco's demeanor from college carries over to the nfl, I think he will do really good. Go watch some video with an open mind and without bias or preformed conclusions and tell me I'm wrong. Semper fi.
justincredible
I am a big fan of Flacco's. I would be very pleased if the Jets were to draft him. It would be nice to have a QB who can actually see over the oline...

Put him behind our line last year, and then you can compare the 2, he played in D-II college ball. Now our O-line last year might have been the equivalent of the line he played behind at Delaware, but the pass rush was a little different. Imploding in the 4th quarter. He makes bad decisions, he folds under pressure. He's a workout warrior that MAY eventually, someday, be an NFL QB, but not in the next three years.
