Irish Jet
If the ****in Bengals had to waive him because of his character issues I would suggest we stay away Good point but the Bengals are right now are trying to clean up everything. Besides, they don't really need a WR at all. Henry would provide a legit deep threat to stretch the field (if he's ever on it) so we could seriously use his talent. I'm not crazy for him or anything, just saying that If we were to pick him up cheaply I wouldn't be against it. Not a chance it happens with Tangini though. Alk
Just so we're clear here. Those of you contemplating him being a Jet do realize the chances of him seeing the field with any team in the NFL this season are very slim right?

Alk
I'm obviously assuming that doesn't happen. If so obviously not, at least not immediately. The guy was suspended for what? 8 games last season? Now he's arrested again? It will be a shock if he sees the field ever again much less this season.

serphnx
Henry is too talented to be out of the league. This guy is a legit top 10 WR in terms of talent. If he ever put it altogether he'd be scary. I thought TO had played himself out of the league with his antics, but now he's apparently forgiven and is respected for his talent. Moss was considered a joke too, but again he is now respected. I don't think he'd be a good fit here, as he would manage to get himself shot and killed, but if he goes out to Atlanta or something nobody will be able to tell the difference, plus he is probably less of a criminal than Vick. Oakland is also a legit option for him. But man, how bad do you have to be to get waived by the bengals for character issues?

Irish Jet
if you had it your way, you had a team of big named scrubs. i can see it now... robert gallery, reggie bush, chris henry, brett favre, keyshawn johnson, frank winters, leonard davis, chris hovan, warren sapp, matt light, kyle brady, brandon loyd...awesome. I love your logic. How could you possibly leave out Vince Young???

Dude, TO had attitude problems and was disruptive to his team because he is a selfish baby. Henry is someone who can't stay out of handcuffs and was suspended for half of LAST season because of it. There is absolutely no comparison between the T.O. situation and Henry's situation. Mark my words, Henry will not see an NFL field this season, and most likely won't ever again. He went and got arrested the the offseason directly proceeding his half a season suspension. Goodell showed some faith in him by reinstating him last season. Henry basically spit in his face by getting arrested again. Don't be surprised if Goodell makes an example out of him (more so than last year) and suspends him for much more than a year. I think there is a good chance Vick will be back before Henry lol
