Gay Couples Find Marriage Is a Mixed Bag

“It’s been a mixed bag,” said Jacob Venter, a 44-year-old child psychiatrist who married Billy Boney, a 36-year-old hairdresser, a month after it became legal to do so. They have disagreements over money, the in-laws and whether to adopt children or have their own.

Two guys having their own children?

I've always thought that gay guys should have the opportunity to be as miserable as the rest of us.

Gay guys or gals; doesn't matter. Marriage is what it is.

The percentage of gay couples in Massachusetts is less than half a percent of the total population.

To use a baseball term: Not a good sample size.

Actually, if he married a man with the last name of Cox and hyphenated his last name, he'd be Billy Boney-Cox.

:Typotux:

What if he married a guy named Taster who insisted that he be the dominant one in the proposed hyphenation? Then, the newspapers would joyously announce that the Cox-Taster nuptials had occurred.
