MagicBizkit87
Damaso Marte sucks Joe Girardi is an idiot Joba Chamberlain probably going to be out for a while now Worst umpires of the season, and maybe ever Whats the ****ing point? I know Farnsworth just allowed a couple runs for Detroit the other day, but trading him was a mistake. We got rid of him for this idiot, Marte? Anyone of us could get on base against that guy, he'll just walk you. Onto Girardi, seriously how does this moron have a job in this league? MagicBizkit87
Dude, you SRSLY have got to calm down. Why do I need to calm down? People like me, bob, and ruben all know the season is over now without Joba in the rotation. I mean having a moronic manager like Girardi was bad enough, but having Joba in the rotation kind of helped me ignore that. Now we probably wont have Joba in the rotation, so im stuck with this idiot manager for the rest of the season, unless Hank hopefully comes to his senses and fires this idiot. I honestly thought this team was going to make the playoffs before today, even with this idiot as the Yankees manager. With Joba out, probably our best pitcher in this rotation, including Wang if he were healthy as well, I don't see how any Yankee fan can see this team going anywhere. Season is done, and the people with the false hope need to realize that.
anskyruben
This was a pathetic display that we saw today. Marte was left for one too many pitches as we saw. I will agree 100% like I told JonE in the other thread, that if Joba is gone, we are done. No way we come back from that kind of loss on the staff. war ensemble
That was far from the worst game I've ever watched. Joba should only miss a start or two, tops. Giambi actually started swinging the bat well, hopefully he can go on a tear. Nady played well. ARod's a ****en idiot. Bad managing by Joe with keeping Marte in there. The 13-4 loss to the Orioles with Moose pitching a couple days ago was worse than this. Not to mention I was at that game.

Matt39
Arod sucks. That's a problem too. But if Joba is out for a while were pretty much screwed. If brittle ass Wang could have ran the bases without breaking his foot maybe not, but these injuries are becoming a joke.

Sucks but they happen. A foot ? NO

Bob
There's light at the end of the tunnel, JCB. The organization's embracing of Willie Randolph shows that Clueless Joe is on a short leash. I was just talking to a friend of mine, he said he was listening to espn radio, and he said that they said Joba will probably be out for only a month. To be honest though, take it with a grain of salt, I don't even trust my friend that much. Why should I not blame Girardi? Just face it, the guys an idiot. The guy he had in the game, Marte, supposed to be a "lefty Specialist", and he walks the lefty. Girardi decides to keep him in against a righty, meanwhile Marte is pitching basically 2 innings, when he's not a 2 inning pitcher. Gee... him being in the game still, I wonder whose fault that would be?
LiLMiCKMANTLE
listen no matter who is pitching or how are rotation looks there is no way we will make the playoffs unless we figure out how to beat the angels.. if we cant out hit them then we will not beat them no matter whose pitching... The angel will be the reason we dont go to the post season.. plus its not helping that we lose to easy teams like Baltimore..

The Yankees didnt trade for Marte to take him out of a game for a rookie reliever. Get real, already. Girardi this season has already proven to be better than Torre at managing the pen, just admit it.

#27TheDominator
Jeez, there are 162 games. Every night it is either "the sky is falling" or "here we come". They are right in it. Like always. Normal Yankee fans expect to win. What is all this defeatist bull****? I guess it's the Jets fan **** rubbing off. At least in football there are only 16 games, there is no reason to blow a gasket over one loss.

When we fail to make the playoffs because of that idiot, Hank will pull the trigger. if you believe that Willie Randolph is an elixir for a poorly performing baseball club, you are sadly mistaken. Unless you want uninspired players, robotic moves, stubbornly sticking with set line-ups, playing veterans, because they are veterans, then Randolph is not the guy. Although, in the dumbed down league, he may have a better chance because less moves are required of a manager. But doubtful. You would be better digging up Billy martin from his grave, propping up and attaching strings.

It's a very long season, and there's going to be some great ups and some crappy downs. So many Yankee fans are acting like babies here and it's annoying as hell. Yea a game like last night's sucks but suck it up you babies, it's just 1 game out of 162. Girardi has done a great job at managing the pen this year, and after they blow a single game he's a stupid idiot who should be fired and replaced with Randolph? Why the HELL would we hire Willie? Seeing as the Yankees are not performing that much better than the Mets, you shouldn't really be casting stones. Particularly when it relates to a manager that was in over his head in managing a ball club.

Bob
I AM bitter, but it's got nothing to do with the Mess. I'm bitter because the team I've loved for 40 years is in the hands of an idiot. The only reason New York's second-class team comes into the discussion is because they recently fired a man whom I would like to see take the idiot's place. The fact that Mess fans have little understanding of the problems with their own team is of little interest to me. Zeebers asked a question and I answered it. The fact that you are so naive to think that fixing the Yankees problem is solved by hiring a man that was so clueless in the day to day managing of the Mets is interesting. To think that putting on pinstripes wipes away the "laid back' approach that Willie adheres to, and eliminating accountability, is simply amusing. Yeah, the yankees need someone who will coddle them. Willie is more Herm Edwards than Girardi is. Don't blame us if you can't see the obvious.
Zeebers
Really. He was the only piece of the Mess organization that was worth a damn. Bob, I don't think Girardi's a great manager. He's had his ups and downs this year. Frankly I think he took too much credit for the Marlins "competing" a couple of years ago, and Freddy Gonzalez actually has them in the thick of things with a similar team minus Cabrera and Willis. Anyway, why would you think Randolph would be any better when the Mets have played much better with a different manager despite their recent struggles and Willie's proven to be a moron. I take it this is your way to knock the Mets, but more power to you. I don't wish Willie on any team, but if the Yankee do somehow hire him, good luck to you all. anskyruben
I love how you Mut fans still keep blaming Willie for that teams problems. I guess it will take you guys finishing off the year in another stellar collapse for you to see that the problem is with the GM, not him. Jerry Manuel couldn't wash the restrooms for the Yankees. It's comedy to see you guys keep on blaming Willie for everything. It was great to see Willie get such a warm reception at Yankee satadium over the weekend. At least some people know who the real problem is.
