SoFlaJets
Your father's a smart man. A good sounding solid state amp is the Gallien-Krueger RB series. I use an 800RB when I play bass with two 1x15's and a 2x10. I play on a G&L L-2500: But I'm more of a guitar player. I've got a Fender Fat Strat, a G&L ASAT and S-500, an Epi Casino, a lawsuit Ibanez Flying V, and my other baby: Love that natural wood look, but my other guitars all have paint jobs. The most popular Casino has the sanded down finish, but mine looks like this: I just jizzed...that Ric is SWEET slats...I have had 2 in my life a black and white 360 and a natural finish 360 also...don't ask... The most popular Casino has the sanded down finish, but mine looks like this: He was in the music business for most of his life until the early/mid 90's. Owned gorilla amps and rogers drums(not the original guy but bought it in the 80s) and phantom guitars and distributed pretty much everything accessory related. Started out with a retail shop on Staten Island that his father owned and turned it into the largest music supply wholesaler/distributor in the world, then the tough times in the 90s hit and a lot of the brands he put on the map went direct to the retailer and that was that. Anyway, my little brother is the first one of us to really get into music, so my father is pretty happy to splurge for him.

L.S. Dylan
I know there's a few drummers on here so I'll go ahead and post my sexy kit. It's the Buddy Rich Kit.. made by the Buddy Rich Company but DW backs them. It's a beautiful kit: 24x14 bass drum which has been my goal to own for a long time. I like simplicity with drums. I really hate having like 68 toms. Mitch Mitchell had two rack and two floor toms. That's about as many as I would have. Bonham had 2 floor toms and one rack. He made it sound like a huge set but it really wasn't so I strive for something like that. Not these guys with three rack, 19 floor toms, two bass drums, etc. Not for me. It came with two floor toms but I use one from my old kit instead. I like the black touch.

slats
I just jizzed...that Ric is SWEET slats...I have had 2 in my life a black and white 360 and a natural finish 360 also...don't ask... Whoa ..... sweet sweet axes there Slats. Collector stuff. Very nice. What kind of music do you like playing? Drool at the Rickenbacker and hollow body. Nice! Thanks guys! I splurged when I was getting divorced. Stocks were going to be split 50/50, but I knew I'd leave with all the guitars. I play a lot of classic rock, and stuff I never thought would become classic rock like the Clash and Police and a lot of that 80's punk/new wave stuff that I came of age to. Sometimes I get the bug and do some song-writing, but right now I'm playing with a band who's focus is getting girls up, dancing, and needing more drinks. As a lifelong Beatle fan, I knew I wanted a Ric before I ever learned to play guitar. That is my baby!
