oxscott
http://www.realgmbaseball.com/src_wiretap_archives/11314/20080828/pavano_placed_on_waivers_by_new_york/ So they rehab him, he throws a decent game, then they put him on waivers?? I guess they have a suitor and are trying to get atleast something for the worthless piece of sh*t before he breaks again.

war ensemble
They should've got rid of him a LONG time ago. Now they'll hardly get anything for him.
Thai Jet
They should've got rid of him a LONG time ago. Now they'll hardly get anything for him. I think if they tried to get rid of him earlier they would have gotten nothing.
CrazyCarl40
I read somewhere that the Mets make take a flier on him, but the price tag is over 3 million between what is owed this season and what the buyout is for next. That guy got rich for doing nothing. Personally, I'm jealous.

Seriously though, each start Pavano made has cost over a million $, that's ridiculous. At least if we got rid of him earlier we might not have had to pay his contract for the remaining years.
