I thought the paying the PSL makes you the owner of those seats? I guess not! So much for having a piece of the stadium for yourself.

Jets won't let fan sell naming rights to his seats

by The Associated Press Friday August 29, 2008, 6:06 AM

One Jets fan in Fairfield wants to sell naming rights to offset the $30,000 seat license fee for his two season tickets.

But the team has a sour taste in its mouth about Howard Freeman's so-called lemonade stand.

The team said the sports marketer is not permitted to try to cover his two lower-level loge seats in Section 113 with corporate or personal logos.

Freeman and his son also would wear merchandise bearing the sponsor's logo at all games. Freeman told The Record when he's dealt lemons, he makes lemonade with creative, entrepreneurial solutions using other people's money.

The Jets announced this week they'll charge fees in the lower level of the stadium.
