we shall see you at the dance right ..oh that's right Cinderella lost your slipper

NU kicks the Riverrats arse

Lowell plays in the premier college hockey league in the Country (Hockey East) with 9 other teams. Niagara plays in the CHA with 3 other teams.

How the CHA "champ" gets an automatic NCAA berth is beyond me.

F U wanker. ;)

This is UNH's worst season in the last decade and we are still ahead of the jugger-not Lowell.

I never said Lowell was decent. We are Lowell........Low, lower, lowest, ULowell!.

I have an irrational hatred for Dick Umile. I really hate that guy.

I also hate most UNH hockey fans (you are the exception to the rule).

Lowell = bottom of Hockey East

Lowell is tied with Maine and UMass for 6th place in Hockey East with 12 points. Boston College is sitting in 5th place with 13 points.

Merrimack and Providence are at the bottom of Hockey East.

Lowell has beaten BC, UNH & UMass this season.

Your Purple Eagles are 1-2 against Hockey East and 1-3 against the ECAC.

I'm sure you are happy that Niagara's last 14 games are against Bemidji State, Alabama-Huntsville and Robert Morris.

Lowell hasn't made the frozen 4 or final 8, but they didn't get an automatic bid for "winning" a league with 4 teams either.

Lowell has to go through BC, BU, UNH, Maine, etc to make the tourney.

All Niagara has to do is beat Bemidji State, Robert Morris and Alabama-Huntsville in the CHA and they are all set.

Lowell > Purple Eagles and it isn't even close.

1999-2000? Is that all you got? Findlay, Air Force & Army? Lame.

You need to accept the fact that Niagara would be in last place in Hockey East.

what's Lowell's excuse?

Its kind of tough to recruit when you are going up against BC, BU, Maine, UNH, etc, but Lowell does well.

Niagara? They get stiffs who can beat the Robert Morris's and Alabama-Hunstville's.

You haven't answered my question. Why does the CHA "winner" get an automatic NCAA berth? That is a joke.

No support from the University who would rather shut down the team and give all their resources to the flagship school.

Do I have go into ULowell mode right now? Yes I do...........

The UMass "trustees" wanted to shut down the proud program that is Lowell hockey and move it to Amherst. F that.

yes.. our wonderful trustees... the overseers...

how 'bout the mother f#ckers hire a real coach for Amherst instead of the 2 dipsh!ts they've had.

It was a sad moment, but it certainly helped get people interested and caring about ULowell and the hockey team.. hopefully Marty can lead the U into a bright future

Gainzo... here is the info on the poster about fan behavior you told me about:

http://www.hockeyeastonline.com/men/presarch/200901/jan15fb.php

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - Hockey East is looking to make the fan experience a positive one at all of its facilities. That is the goal of a new campaign highlighted by fan-friendly posters being sent to all campuses this weekend, which was announced on Thursday by Hockey East Commissioner Joe Bertagna. The headline on the posters, which depict a photo of children and families enjoying a game, says:
