Nnamath
turn off the main breaker. use a screwdriver that is one size too small so you don't damage sides of breakers or edges of wires. ignore the wire stripper and use a small utility knife to cut ends of wire. Most household breakers are 20 amp one pole. If its a two pole breaker make sure to loosen the breaker above it when reinstalling the two pole one. if the wiring in your house is more than 10 years old, get a pro. There have been so many changes in residential electrical work in the last ten years that you may not know what is inside a panel or socket. If you go to Home Depot or Lowes ask to speak to an assistant manager or manager. Those people have an expertise in construction of some sort and/or have attended many traning classes on some expertise. Good luck
Gagoots
Does anybody know why my two thermostats for my radient heat are now working. They must be wired directly, because all the breakers are fine. OF course, I cant get the heat on. This is for a downstairs family room & an upstairs bathroom.
