The Gun Of Bavaria
After yesterday's unprepared, unmotivated near-debacle, it's painfully obvious. I wouldn't want Edwards back in a million years. Hell not even in a billion years. But yesterday was a pathetic display of game planning, game preparation, and game execution by this coaching staff. I'm holding this coaching staff personally responsible for this soon to be 8-8 season unfolding before us. I hope Eric Mangini woke up this morning and was sitting on his throne, taking a morning deuce, and realizing he basically got out coached by Herm Edwards and nearly got beat by a 3rd string QB from Coastal Carolina. Pathetic.

SMC
thank god herm became herm again and went into shell with 5 minutes to go,,if he stays in spread we lose the game Exactly! I think Herm had a chance, early on, to develop into a good HC. His early success ruined him and gave him a false sense that his "method" works. So rather than trying to improve as a HC he became set in his ways. Herm has been burned in the past for just what happened yesterday but he still does it. JohnnyHector
Joe Walton? No, Joe Walton never showed promise as a HC. He took over a great team and went nowhere with it. The guy I'm thinking about is a little more rotund and recent...

Gets the mangenious label. Has cameo on The Sopranos. Must have thought that this is easy. For someone who is supposed to be very intelligent, he has learned nothing since then. I would think that 4-12 after his first season would be a wakeup call. Herm had 2 good seasons in a row plus a playoff victory under his belt before he thought his method was a success. It just troubles me that Mangini thinks Belichick's methods are the reason Belichick is successful and all you have to do is copy those methods and be successful. JiFtheOracle
Eric Mangini was completely outcoached by Herman Edwards yesterday. BTW, I LOVE HERMAN EDWARDS. But yeah, Herman made it real easy for Thigpen yesterday and Mangini did NOTHING to adjust or disrupt a very nicely executed game plan put together by the Chiefs. Its official Mangini sucks the big one.

The Gun Of Bavaria
how is edwards>mangini when mangini won? The fact that the Jets struggled immensely against a 1-6 team and almost lost to a QB from Coastal Carolina who outplayed our superstar.
