PantyHose&Furs
We won 4 games last year. We've won 4 game already this year. I don't like how we're playing and I'm losing confidence daily in our coaching staff. But I have to be fair...we're a plus .500 team right now. And we haven't played a complete game yet. We have talent. Let's hope we develop an identity and stop turning the ball over. It's tough to win a flag football game when you throw 3 picks a game...not to mention an NFL game. If Farve throws half the interceptions he's thrown in the Red Zone we may feel differently about this team. Stop the TO's and I'll take my chances. We have a big game to play next week. Wouldn't that be a good time to get our act together and play a complete game?

SMC
My "perspective" is this. The Jets have played poorly for much of this season and are still 4-3. That's a positive for me. Because, honestly, I would not want the Jets to be 2-5 and have been playing "well" and just gotten tough breaks. If the Jets improve their play and how they gameplan/coach the game, then they should be able to have a winning season, rather than simply squeek out 9-7 record. SMC
And to add, would people rather be the 3-4 Jags (2-1 div., 3-4 conf.) or 3-5 Chargers (1-1 div. 3-3 conf.) rather than the Jets 4-3 (1-1 div. 3-3 conf.)?

We have not played 4 full quarters year. We've flashed dominant defense and explosive offense, but we are just sooo inconsistent and not in rhythm. If Mangini can get this team playing solid, sound football we could be a force to be reckoned with.

You didn't study for an exam and got a B. You're at a crossroads, do you study hard for the next one so you can get an A or be satisfied with slacking and getting a B? I'm still hopefull we can run on all cylinders soon and be a serious force to be reckoned with. If nothing else we showed we can come back & win games. i'm really looking forward to next week
