That song embarrassed the crap out of me. Everytime that song started playing I'd have to start making excuses to whoever I brought to the game. It's a football game people, not fairy karaoke. :bag:

It's a Red Sox song - now go wash your mouth out with soap ;)

BTW - did you know it was recently revealed that "Sweet Caroline" was inspired by Caroline Kennedy. Thinking back to when the song originated - and paying close attention to some of the lyrics - that would make Neil Diamond a sick pervert and borderline pedophile.

Did the stadium play the PC Richards whistle?

I never tire of hearing that.

No matter how sick and tired I got from that whistle, it's still so much better than having to hear "saaaaaved byyyyyyy zeeeero" ten thousand times while sitting at home.

My GF screams now everytime she hears it which was about 263 times during the Bills/ Dolfags game. It used to be a good song but it's ruined now.

Thank GOD they didn`t play it, it is such a gay song song it has no buissness being played at a FootBall game in the 1st place.,They are getting better up there ,1st they got rid of the banner boys for the Flt. Crew & then doubled their size ,now hopefully they have traded in Niel Diamond for some Heavy Metal

no offense to our heavy metal connoisseurs but that music would drive me crazy.. some of the music they do play has a bunch of swears in it.. lovely for the family feel of the game. :D

i didnt hear welcome to the jungle either, did i?

i think they should play music from the last time we won the SB.. hey now! that would be some good music!!!

I think it's be hilarious if we played some songs from SouthernJet and Afos's era. Here's the top charts of the times:

Me make fire, burn toe-Ooka Ookka and the stone clackers

This rock not taste good-The Muk muks

My new wheel run over momma-Clicks McClacks

Sheba head so hard my club no work-Artist Unknown

You should have come to my show on Friday. We opened for the New Riders of the Purple Sage. I played and sang I Know You Rider and Soulshine to a packed house. Then got to hand with Buddy Cage for a bit back stage.

Personally, I love the $20 gift card giveaways when the game is about to re-start.

Great questions too! ...What Jets QB led them to victory in Super Bowl III?

The only people who don't know that are the 5 year olds and they might even freakin' know.

Unbelieveable.

Amy Tobey knows the answer to the ''Sweet Caroline" question.

Tobey began working for the Red Sox through her job at BCN Productions, a film and video communications company, having interned for the Boston Bruins.

Her assignment was to decide what music would be played at the park from 1998 to 2004.

She had noticed ''Sweet Caroline" was used at other sporting events, and she decided to send the sweetness over the Fenway speakers.
