leon21
From Rotoworld.. The 49ers announced that QB Shaun Hill will be their starting quarterback after the team returns from its bye week. Considerate of them to do it before fantasy waivers run. Like last year, Hill effectively dinked and dunked the 49ers Sunday down the field, using Frank Gore and his tight ends a lot. As a Mike Martz quarterback, he's absolutely worth owning as a QB2 if you need help. He should record passable stats. The schedule (Arizona, St. Louis) is favorable out of the gates. Alk
I found an interesting article saying that by all rights Hill should have been the starter when the season started but Martz was so infatuated with O'Sullivan that Knoll came up with a phantom arm injury as an excuse to keep Hill on the bench.
