Gainzo
Looks like Joseph Addai & Bob Sanders will play Sunday against the Pats. If the Pats lose and the Jets knock of the Bills we are looking at a 3-way tie for 1st place in the Division. This season reminds me of 2002. That worked out well for the Jets. Irish Jet
huh? What? I seriously don't think we'll win, not if we play anything like we have the last 3 weeks anyways. I hope I'm wrong, I really do. I just can't see it happening. I also think the Colts breakout this week, I expect them to blowout the Pats at home. A couple nights ago I was thinking that as well. ecspecially since in the last week the Bills play the Pats, while the Jets play the phins. so that week could very well have the same kind of situation of one team needing the other rival to win. would be very exciting. A win this week can spark this team, have some confidence for this big game. 2 weeks ago we were 2 games back of the division, and now were in a situation were we can help start a 3 way tie(depending on the colts as well)

The Oakland loss opened my eyes with this team, The KC game reinforced it. We're just not a good team right now IMO. I fully expect Buffallo to win and win fairly comfortably too. serphnx
We are going to start the game getting blown out. Then we will make a comeback that just falls short. We will then struggle onwards and win some games we shouldn't win, and then lose our last 2 games when a win gets us in and instead get really lucky as we back into the playoffs, where we will possibly win the first week and then get destroyed the next. I have seen this script so many times. The players change, the coaches change, but the end results never do. Same 'ol Jets.

Take away the 1st half of the Cards game and the Jets have quite simply SUCKED this season. Even in the Miami game Ronnie Brown wasn't 100%, if he was IMO the game is much different. The Bills under Trent Edwards have been very solid for the most part, last week though was a rough loss.

Who the F are their key injuries? Their 4th receiver? (Joseh Reed) and over-rated DE (except when he plays the Jets)? Give me a break. Bills fans making excuses for their team that STILL hasn't beaten a team .500 or over and if they beat the Jets, well, they'll have beaten one team at .500. Well, that's just how the Jets are. They will do just enough to get your hopes up, and then dash them away. This team is too talented to go 6-10. That doesn't mean we make the playoffs or anything, but it means they need to torture us and make us think we can get there. Do not be fooled, it is a trick. They say Namath sold his soul for that SB victory, and the franchise is forever cursed as a result. Hopefully Brett or Mangini can sell theirs for another, so that I can at least witness one in my lifetime.

NY JETS 29
Huge week for the division just like Gainzo said, I do see the Colts coming into Sunday night with a chip on their shoulder and this is a MUST win game for the Jets IF they want a real shot at winning this division. In my eyes we have no choice but to win this game if we want to salvage the Raider loss and a slow 4-3 start with tons of question marks regarding the offense and coaching staff. Jets win and Colts win were looking at a 3 way time for the divsion, BUT thats when things get real interesting for the divison because the following week the Jets can home in a share for the division which us fans haven't had in awhile which you would "expect" a loud and pumped up crowd vs. the Rams and then Buffalo has to travel to New England and not to even get further ahead of ourselves, but the Jets then travel to New England for a Thursday night showdown. This is a huge stretch for this team and going to be an exciting month of football for the East. I hope this team starts to show an identity and gets stuff going. The division is there for us we just need to go out and take it!!
Irish Jet
Looking over this again, I actually think we'll be last in the divsion come the end of this week.
Gainzo
As it stands the Division looks like this: Pats 5-2 Jets 5-3 Bills 5-3 Dolphins 3-4* *The Dolphins are up 16-7 at halftime in Denver. If the Dolphins hold on and the Pats lose tonight the Division is wide open.
