BroadwayJoe12
Per rotoworld "Bills DE Aaron Schobel (foot) is not expected to play in Week 9. Ryan Denney will likely make his third consecutive start at right defensive end. Denney has just eight tackles and no sacks in his last three games." While I am not glad that he's injured by any means, I am glad that we will not have to face him. D'brick, who has played quite well this year, normally struggles against schobel and I'm looking for our Oline as a whole to regroup and have a dominant performance. This will be key, considering we should be in pass-pro most of the game, what with the secondary mess the bills have had. Mcgee was nowhere near 100% last game and ginn took advantage of that....who thinks schotty saw that and now will just run the ball instead?? Jetkid94
I am never EVER taking excitement in other teams injuries again. I agree 100%. but at least this one is defensive so a backup cant make the jets defense look like a college team. Schobel always kills D'brick, so I think this injury may actually help us. SweetLee83
It's not like he helped the pass rush when he played anyway.
BroadwayJoe12
It's not like he helped the pass rush when he played anyway. Not against your other opponents, but he's been known to dominate us. I liken it to what Jim Thome used to do against my yankees year in and year out when he played for the indians...God i hate him hah. Is McGee also 100%??? From what i saw last weekend, he got toasted by gin and all the bills fans i've talked to wanted to see either Corner or Mckelvin get some more playing time. Yeah McGee wasn't 100% last week thats for sure. There was an article today though stating he said he wasn't but feels 100% for sure now. He went onto talk about he wants to press Coles to eliminate the short quick passes. I guess Coles is banged up with his thigh or something too? I guess Coles is banged up with his thigh or something too? Ya, coles is always banged up, but gotta love the way he plays. That was the biggest problem I saw with the game last weekend; mcgee was giving ginn about an 8 yard cushion and just abused him all game..I was really shocked mckelvin wasn't put in or this corner kid i've been hearing about(never really heard about him till i talked to my buddies). I'm gonna say McGee will be tested early in the game and his play will dictate what type of offense we go with. Although, that would make sense, and our OC and HC seem to go against the grain. I would imagine if McGee gets beat early, look for us to run the ball the next 10 plays.
