Wilfork has wifey fight his battles for him

Beyond belief. I'm so tired of the Pats constantly getting one by on the rest of the league.

Commissioner Roger Goodell was poised to suspend New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork due to his previous illegal hits over the past two seasons, but a DVD from the Patriots' video department saved him from at least a forced week off this season, league sources told ESPN.

Wilfork's wife Bianca, who joined Wilfork for the meeting, handed Goodell the DVD with a different camera angle that showed Wilfork may not have hit Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler in the head on a play in the Oct. 20 meeting between the Broncos and Patriots.

On the alternate DVD, Cutler could be seen picking himself up and patting Wilfork on the helmet after the play.

Wilfork started his meeting with Goodell admitting a hit to Buffalo Bills quarterback J.P. Losman last season was a cheap shot, but when the commissioner started to to review the alleged late hit on Cutler, Wilfork's wife handed the commissioner the new DVD.

Wilfork was fined $35,000 but not suspended. Vince and Bianca Wilfork wrote a thank you letter to Goodell at the end of the week.

I don't care if he didn't hit Cutler. He admitted a cheap shot on Losman. He should have been suspended then.

Bainca and Deanna ought to have lunch. They should invite Kurt Warners wife too.

I met this woman the day before the Jets/Pats game this year at the bar at the hotel I was staying at. I wouldn't mess with her and I don't scare easy.

How the **** did the Patriots video department come up with a tape with an angle the NFL did not have?

Is there more illegal taping going on up there?

The Broncos and Pats both taped the game like every NFL team does each week. The Broncos tape supposedly showed Wilfork committing the elbow to the head. The Pats tape didn't.

These are called coaches tapes and they are filmed from high above the end zone.

at any rate he should have been suspended for the hit on losman and he shouldn't have brought his wife to a meeting with the comish.

If you can bring your wife to court with you, why not to the commisioner's hearing? Is the commish supposed to be higher than a judge?

I'm no physics major, but if Wilfork didn't hit him, then how did Cutler fall back down? Is Wilfork the fattest Jedi alive and just used the force to push him down? He was a defenseless player getting back off the ground. If Denver's video wasn't the best quality, then how was the Pats' any better that clearly showed he didn't hit him in the head.

Goodell has lost all respect in my eyes with his inconsistent punishments this season.

Obviously their love bloomed at an "all you can eat" buffet....and the McDonald's drive thru, and KFC, and... Also they buy and wear the same size and color shirts. Easier to wipe your hands on after another nutritious high-quality fast food meal.

Cardiology and aerobics be damned, more ding dongs and funions for everyone over at the Wilforks!
