Blackout
I don't agree. Miami is better than Buffalo, and the trick plays haven't been working as of late but the dolphins keep winning. They win the turnover battle and play good defense...a proven winning formula. miami was 1-15 last year. chad is not enough to make them better than any oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiif the other teams. the wild cat is a nice gimmick but teams are already getting it down, and they can only use it so much (ie Houston game). the pats will probably spank them next time out. buffalo still is better than miami in the standings and in my mind as well. the bills need to win some division games though... and the jets are def better than miami, except in the front office. the entire AFC east is lucky we are playing the NFC West and AFC West! my laptop s messed uip so forgve the massive "i" toitial in my words. im goinig toi bed and doint feel like fixing it. ps- chad henne will be a great QB if he gets nice WRs

Aqua4ever04
would mami be in the shape they are in now if it wasn't for chad?????? Them bastards at least owe us bbq. Insert any of the 11 dummies in that slot between Marino and Pennington and the Dolphins are 2-6 at best. Chad has been one of the three best quarterbacks in the AFC this year. Aqua4ever04
Forget about the Fins, what the hell has happened to the Broncos? They were supposed to be contenders. The Jets have a 2 game lead on the Fins (1 in the loss column and 1 head-to-head), so I'm not worrying about the Fins at the moment. The Broncos should be 2-6. They were the NFL's biggest fraud of the first half of the season. Ed Hochuli gave them a win and Martin Gramatica missed two game winning field goals. DrownTheJets
would mami be in the shape they are in now if it wasn't for chad?????? Them bastards at least owe us bbq. Very doubtful. Chad has been our saving grace on offense. Chad(Henne) wasn't ready, and obviously McClown isn't as savvy or even talented as Pennington. Who would of thought our greatest gift of the offseason would come from our bitter rivals. The Wildcat hasn't produced for three straight weeks now. Man that's gettin kinda old. People associating Miami with Wildcat. I had a long discussion with a Donko fan today that basicly consisted of me convincing him that Miami has an offense beyond the wildcat. I told him watch out for Pennington, Camarillo and Ginn and our TEs. He said "Cama-who?", *laugh*" The know-nothing blowhards who only know, or think they know from what they hear on ESPN give me a good laugh. CTM
Insert any of the 11 dummies in that slot between Marino and Pennington and the Dolphins are 2-6 at best. Chad has been one of the three best quarterbacks in the AFC this year. Meh, real hard to say that imo unless you really look and realize how poor AFC QB play has been this season. He's had a few good games but some of his biggest plays have come from Miami coaching confusing the opposition and some plays being made on dump offs. I know his 80 yard TD was a dump off and he's had several big plays from Ronnie Brown on screens... Defenses also seem to be gearing to stop the run as Chad himself said last week. Obviously he's better the any other option you had but he's doing little more then letting the parts around him work, which really is what he's best for. Wait until you get into a have to pass situation, week 1 against the Jets Mangini gave him all the dump offs he wanted but on that last drive there wasn't a question in my mind that the INT was coming. In fact he threw 2.. You should really watch a game or maybe copy someone else before you pretend to know what you're talking about. Go ahead and check the Wildcat's stats today. We had negative yardage out of the formation and we never trailed the entire game. The Wildcat hasn't produced for three straight weeks now. Your defense also openned the game with a pick that lead to a FG and a pick 6??? The wild cat gets a lost of credit because you probably don't beat NE without it, that game is what kind of propelled you to where you are now. There's a big difference between 1-2 and 0-

Chad is playing better this year for us than he ever did in New York. Also, Chad only threw 1 pick in the opening game and it was the last play of the game. I'm saying that the idea of him playing like a top QB in football is off, but did say that he is playing well. There is a middle ground.. AS near as i can tell, outside of the Buffalo game, Chad is being Chad, just getting some explosive plays around him that he didn't get here last year and obviously better coached/schemed. Even in the buffalo game he was picking on a gimpy corner who probably shouldn't have been playing... I'm pretty sure that if you put Chad on this Jets team he'd look a lot uglier.. re: the Jets game, I said he threw two INT's on the last drive, which he did, our safety just didn't cooperate and catch the first one.. In all fairness, Chad drove us down for a TD with less than 2 minutes left on the clock at Houston. Our defense went soft and let them score with almost no time. They left us 4 seconds and a hail mary type play, which hardly ever work in the pros. The Houston game was not Chads fault, hell, we scored 28 points. The defense blew that one. jetophile
I've been sayin it since the pre-season, Miami is tough! Finally the divison can be won by any team not named the Fagtriots... Here's to a fun football season What's that smell...? OK, victory; but it would feel wrong if I didn't do...THIS! Plus, I have to admit that seeing Pennington in a Miami jersey makes me fit to puke. 300+ yards last week while the Jets nearly blew it vs. Herm. You can't make it up. Fun football, you bet. 124
Miami still doesn't scare me. They should win their next two games which will get everyone going crazy if they're 6-4 but I don't see them beating the Patriots the second time around, they're not beating the Jets (so thats 6 L's right there) and going to St.Louis and Toronto(Bills) will be tough games. I say 8-8, maybe 9-7 for Miami. They'll be close, but its not like they're going 11-5. New England & the Jets will still finish ahead of them. Miami's just happy to win a game or two, we're all enjoying some "Humble Pie" and not worrying about games that haven't been played yet.

When the team wins, it's because of Chad, no matter what actually happened on the field. When the team losses, it's because of everyone not named Chad. It's deja vu all over again. Yup, don't think they'll win the division but looking at that schedule it's REALLY hard to rule them out. Pennington always was pretty good at beating up on weaker teams and they have a few of them coming up, that defense is also looking GOOD. Like it or not, the Dolphins are no joke this season.
