Irish Jet
It took a former NYJET to make Miami the team they are today. We really should not have allowed that to happen. ..Then again he has helped take out both the Pats and Bills.

Yeah, cause we're in such cap trouble now ... We're in great shape cap wise... How ironic, your front office maxed out the credit cards in the offseason and you're talking to me about cap hell. I'm actually worried what will happen with Parcells and our new ownership situation. Hopefully the new owner leaves Bill alone and keeps feeding him big money. crashingjet
Uhh 1 actually.. Bill parcells.. You think Penny would be having a respectable year with Cam Cameron coaching them Cam Cameron wouldn't have even looked at Pennington. We'd still have John Beck behind center working out his fumbling problems and overall bad play. Hell, now that I think of it, we might have tried to out bid the Jets to get Favre if Cam Camaroo was still here...
InstantClassic
Insert any of the 11 dummies in that slot between Marino and Pennington and the Dolphins are 2-6 at best. Chad has been one of the three best quarterbacks in the AFC this year. In the AFC East? Yes.

I guarantee you pennington would look like the 07 Pennington under Cameron - or worse. The fact that you guys are giving all the credit to Pennington is insane frankly. I'm looking forward to all the Pennington/Henne threads this offseason, should be a trip down memory lane for us Jets fans..
Aqua4ever04
In the AFC East? Yes. He's the best quarterback in the division right now. The only AFC QBs having better years than Chad are Phillip Rivers and Ben Roethlisberger.

Yeah, and I pinned it on the 3 I don't disagree about Pennington and how he would have played under Cameron. Cameron was a terrible head coach but, there's no way Cameron would have sold out his 2nd round pick for Chad... Cameron had a serious man crush on Beck. Hey Aqua... HardKoreXXX
I thought Dan Dierdorf said it best yesterday... "Brett Favre was the best thing that could've happened to the Miami Dolphins" I was gonna ask the same question I asked last week about how many wins you guys would have with Chad instead of Old Man Favre, but instead I'll just congratulate you guys on a nice win against Buffalo. Thai Jet
Soooo, you're saying Chads drive at the end of yesterdays game, a 15 play 80 yard drive that took up 8 minutes and climaxed with a TD, without 1 wildcat play, was luck? Chad is playing better this year for us than he ever did in New York. Also, Chad only threw 1 pick in the opening game and it was the last play of the game. Not true. He took us to within 1 FG of the Championships. You're such a #@$^ing hypocrtic with this Chad crap. Laughable really.

Thai Jet
I don't like this hypothetical situation... You're also assuming that the Jets even make the playoffs. There are still 8 games left yet to be played. Yea, just like the Dolfags have.

Well, the year isn't over yet. Who knows where Chad takes us this year... Look, Chad's the best QB we've had since Marino, of course I'm gonna be "Pro Chad"... I was initialy worried because of the way he played last year, but I've realized his bad play last year was the fault of the coaches in New York, not because of Chad. Thai Jet
Care to tell me why they're not beating the Jets? . Because if you couldn't beat us in that 1/2 empty stadium of yours in the heat you sure as hell ain't beatin us in OUR house in the cold.

NJeMKay14
Jeez, what's up with all the Pennington hate Dude gives it his all for us, and your upset that he's having success now? I hate the Dolphins as much as the next Jets fan but I like seeing Chad play well. I think he has a lot to do with the success the Phins are having now. You really need to gather some information and perspective before speaking because once again you clearly have no idea about the topic you're speaking on. Our running game has been non-existent the past two weeks and Chad has vaulted us to wins. A 15 play, 80 yard, 8 minute drive to put the game on rocks is as good as it gets. Especially when it's done mostly through the air.

Irish Jet
BY THE WAY crashingjet. If the Jets win Sunday or in any game the rest of this season, you have to take up your end of our bet and bring out the Joe Namath SIG.
