The Jets will clinch in Seattle

Miami has a good shot at 9-7, but no further than that. They are a nice story, but they are a year away from being true threats. I will enjoy next season when they don't have such an easy schedule. They did not have to make West Coast trips to face Oakland, San Diego, San Franciso and Seattle. No, they instead got to travel to Arizona, St.Louis, Kansas City (HA!) and Denver. Shorter trips always do indeed help.

Like you said, they are a nice story but that's it for this year.

And lastly I'm a firm believer that the AFC East is going to come down to Week 17:

Dolphins @ Jets

Patriots @ Bills

Stay tuned.

I say we will tied for the Div. lead with the Bills but have the tie breaker having beat them twice already (by then) and all we will have to do is win our game and it won`t matter what the Bills do for their game then .

Arent you guys putting the wagon before the horse?

The Jets havent put together 2 good games in a row and ya'll are planning the AFCE Division Championship party.

That may be true but since San Diego they are 4-1 with their one loss being an Overtime loss on the West Coast. Doesn't matter if they win by 20 or 1, doesn't matter if its a "pretty" or "ugly" win because in the grand scheme of things nobody cares except the nitpickers. A win is a win and the Jets continue to win since September 22nd. They have the best record of any AFC East team since Week 3.

It does matter because eventually you get exposed. The Jets pass defense is horrid.

Only to one side of the field. Darrelle Revis will take away every teams #1 receiver. The Jets Cornerbacks do need to step it up against teams #2 and #3 options though, agreed on that. The pass defense isn't TERRIBLE by any means though.

Are you going to count out the Dolphins? We're 4-4 and this is our remaining schedule.

Seattle

Oakland

New England

@ St. Louis

@ Buffalo (In Toronto)

San Francisco

@ Kansas City

@ NY Jets

Can you point out three losses on that list?

lol, Buffalo and Jets are locks, and after beating Seattle and oakland there is no way you get past NE, and if you did the rams would be a classic trap game.

That's really nitpicking.

Besides, Arizona is nearly unbeatable at home, Denver is not by any means an easy place to play, and going to KC in December is never a pic-nic.

If you actually think you'll beat NE for a second time you're delusional.

Haha.

Right. We didn't dominate every aspect of the first game or anything. We didn't knock Matt Cassel around all day, shut down Randy Moss, run ramped all over their Swiss Cheese defense; no, we didn't do anything of this sort.

We clearly have no shot against them in our yard.

your yard? Please, dolphins stadium should just be renamed. Actually, the billboard should be turned into an LED board that changes the name of the stadium to whatever visiting team shows up there that week.

Sorry dude, you may be hardcore, but the dolphins fanbase in general sure as hell isn't.

That's beside the point. To say we have no shot at beating the Patriots is an utter joke. (But what else would I expect from ThaiJet, he's the biggest joke on this board.)

By the way, I'm going to Miami for that game. ;)
