Kleckineau
I realize the Bills are not run blocking very well but this guy seems like he cannot create any yds on his own. He seems to go right to where the play was designed and never finds a crease elsewhere or bounces a run outside. I think Beastmode is Bustmode and just isnt playing like a 1st round back. Same clowns who swear he is a beast are scorching Trent Edwards as the reason for yesterdays loss. I know he made some mistakes yesterday but I think the guy is good and gonna get better. Kleckineau
He had a brilliant rookie year, but the falloff is palpable. I think he was productive. Brilliant seems to be a bit of a stretch. Im not sayin he's Blair Thomas but this Beastmode label seems WAY overdone.

Exactly, Probably now averaging 3.4 yds per. Im not saying he stinks but just seems to me you can get guys like that without wasting a 1st rnd pick on them. Jackson is just as good, maybe better. Wasnt he a free agent pick up?

I'm with you man, your insane but I'm still with you. I don't think Lynch is as good as people say he is, is he a franchise back? Yes he is, but he's not a Top 5 back like people say he is. I think he's a bit overrated and I'll take players like Turner, Gore, and Chris Johnson over him.

serphnx
I don't think he is very good either. But he does try at least I guess, why did nobody else even try to go after Elam? I'm glad they didn't, it looked like Lynch was the only one that wanted to tackle him.

124
Leon was what 7 for 13 ? THAT surprized me. Leon is a great scatback, I love him in that role. TJ however is a man pissed off due to his lackluster 2007 campagin behind two OLineman who are no longer in the ****ing league, yet people said it was TJ's fault. Morons. I've seen him make some great moves and have some great runs but he CAN be very pedestrian as he was yesterday. Coming into the game he scared me but Luckily I had nothing to worry about. I've always been a big TJ fan. He had 1100 yards behind that crap O line last year with noodle arm as his QB and 7 guys in the box. Very impressive IMO. gang_green03
Lynch is in no way a bust unless you were expecting him to be a dominant back. He's a pretty good back and I thought that's what most people were expecting out of him. He's lived up to my expectations so far.
JiFtheOracle
He isnt a bust by any means. You just sometimes have to wonder if its the right thing to pound a RB like they did Lynch last year. It always seems to have a negative affect on players. IMO...he'll be fine and have a good career.
SweetLee83
First of all, I'll keep saying I'd like to see any other back in the league try and have big days with our run blocking, it just won't happen. There is seriously 2-3 guys in the back field or closed around our backs when they get the ball. It's truly been our downfall, because we can't run the ball, people drop more guys into coverage, and it then makes it much harder for Edwards. I know I've never said hes great, or even a top 5 back, because he isn't right now, but he certainly isn't a bust and hes the least of our worries. As for the Beast Mode thing, he was asked what kind of attitude and mind set he has going into games and during games, and that was his answer, people just didn't come up with that as a nickname for him because they "overrate" him. Jetscode1
Lynch is far from a bust. Very productive player...He still has to learn to use his blockers better but he is a very good, productive back who does a good job catching the ball out of the backfield. He may never develop into a dominating back you can count on for tough yards (goaline and short yardage) but overall is better than most and looks like a solid professional for the years to come. So you were scared of the guy even though the Jets have the #4 run D, but he's overrated? While you are all bashing his day you might want to start including his receiving yards. Not that bad a day considering he had the flu and probably only played a half.

GFJET33
how bout just giving our 4th ranked run defense credit for shutting him down. Lynch is a good back, we just have an elite rush defense this year.

In hindsite it looks like a poor decision. You don't have to tell me. Dockery has been ok, nothing great and the same with Walker, expect thats the problem. Now we have all this money dumped into the line and we can't really upgrade because of the salaries the guys there already have.
