Iverson to Detroit, Billups to Denver

Starbury is your favorite player? He'll be in Miami soon enough. Same state, different town. I hope they enjoy his ball hogging horrible play.

Good job Detroit. Awesome move. Billups is over-rated and this keeps AI away from Cleveland where almost everyone thought he would go.

Yup, always has been. Great scorer, physical point guard.

Billups is overrated? Billups is the best PG in basketball.

This may be good for the Magic, because Billups is Magic killer numero uno, but Iverson used to kill the Magic as well. This trade may hurt us as well, since Dooling is gone, and he's the type of guy who could cover Iverson.

The Magic didn't get Pietrus for nothing bro..he is a lockdown defender.

I hope you're not serious.

2004 Billups is far from 2008 Billups.

I'll take Rondo over Billups anyday, and Rondo is not the best either.

Great trade for Detroit. They get away their aging, over-rated for the past 3+ years Point Guard for a threat like AI and keep AI away from teaming up with LeBron. This puts Detroit 1B to Boston's 1A with Cleveland right below them.

Please. Rondo?

Billups is nothing but money in the playoffs and is one of the best distributors, and the most lethal player in the NBA as far as crunch time is concerned.

If I have my choice of one PG in the NBA to lead my team to an NBA title I choose Billups 10 out of 10 times.

Chauncey Billups isn't even a Top 10 NBA PG at this point in his career. This is ridiculous IC, stop making yourself look so foolish. The guy was great but hasn't been **** since about 2005.

Last season:

5th in PPG for a PG with between 4-7 minutes less playing time than the four scorers in front of him.

10th in assists per game

7th assist/TO ratio (with players such as Knight, Diener, Daniels, Duhon, Blake and Jason Williams in front of him, all players not on the same planet as Billups)

1st in FT %

7th in steals

Clearly in the Top 10.

I liked the press conference they had today. Somebody asked AI about practice and AI was a good sport and made fun of himself. Allen is one of my all time favorite players. Fun and amazing to watch and I don't care what anybody says, I think deep down, he is a good guy. I just like him.

WOW. How stupid is Detroit?

AI is my favorite player in the NBA, other than Starbury and D12, but Detroit has a good thing going for them and that starts with Billups.

Are you serious? They needed a change in the offense because there is no way in hell they were coming out in the East.

The most important thing about this trade is the fact the Pistons have enough cap space to pursue big time stars in the summer of 2010. LeBron James could be one of those players, along with Chris Bosh.

Very bold move by the Pistons.

You're right. Six straight years in the conference finals needs a change in offense, especially a defensive minded team.
