Pats or Phins....

they were talking about the fins on lacal radio this morning. The popular belief is that Parcells won't risk him destroying the team. Don't forget, while in Dallas it was Jerry Jones who took control of signing TO, Parcells didn't really want him.

he has worn out his welcome in Atlanta and at the end of the earth in Oakland, I wouldn't bet on it

No evidence, although it may be true, that he wore out his welcome in Oakland.

Fact is, Al Davis is cheap. He wants to save cash. Hall has a clause that says if he gets a serious injury, he has 16M guaranteed coming. Al Davis doesn't want to risk that since he's cheap.

Hey, since his contract with Oakland allegedly called for $24.5M guaranteed, how is it Oakland can release him without paying him that amount? Same with Javon Walker's $11M and Tommy Kelly's $19M (or whatever it was).

If you can just release him to get out of guaranteed money, then how is that any more guaranteed than a bloated future salary or roster bonus without the word "guaranteed" attached to it?
