Ghost
He missed practice again today. This will be a big boost for the Jets if we can focus more on the pass.
Arsis
So the back-up will get 25 yards on the ground instead of Jackson getting 40.

They've pretty much says he won't play if he doesn't practice. I guess it screwed their whole game plan from the get go when he told them he couldn't do a particular play they called at the beginning of the game. I hope your not trying to compare Jackson to Lynch because Jackson is a Top 5 back in this league and is always one step away from taking to the house. I've heard that Jackson needs to practice one time and he'll get to play, that's a full practice of course.

The problem isnt Steven Jackson the RB its Steven Jackson the receiver. Jenkins might eat up Jackson for lunch, but do we really want to see Dave Bowens or Eric Barton trying to chase him down in the open field? Jackson missed a drop last week but if he had caught it, he would of scored for sure.
Larz
teams really can't run on us BUT they just substitute it with a short passing game, and jackson could really hurt us there

Don't know if you've noticed..but our pass D is atrocious. Forcing teams to throw on us is not the answer.

I agree but that's why I'm saying we can focus more on the passing game than on Jackson.
serphnx
I don't care how good you are, what Jenkins did last week would stuff every RB in the league. That was as dominant as I've ever seen a 3-4 NT. If I was a DL coach, I would just make a tape of that game and show it to my players as an example of how to play the game. Jenkins put on a high level technique clinic.

Aqua4ever04
Play or not play, you guys will be stingy against the run. Kris Jenkins is dominating and even if he does play, Steven Jackson was clearly not himself last week when not at full health. So if he does play, he's still not 100% and still will not be as effective.

124
The way our run defense, mostly Kris Jenkins, is playing I do not fear a single back in the NFL right now except Adrian Peterson and whadya know, we don't face Minnesota.

I fear Adrien Peterson running full force into Kris Jenkins and breaking every bone is his body. I think that would get Jenkins suspended for a game or two and that wouldn't be cool.
